IMO, the best camera for general shooting is one you can carry without much extra effort, can pull out quickly when needed with interface (software and hardware) you can get used to.

So it will be nice if you can go to a store and try on different brands of camera to see which you found most comfortable to hold and change settings while shooting.

My personal choice would be the fuji x-e3. Pair with a 18-135mm lens and you should be good for 90% of the time for years to go.

The sony A6000 is a good choice if you are going to shoot video with it, the only downside is its buttons are tiny, impossible to use wearing glove.

For some reason I never like the Camon M cameras, maybe I not good at using them. Even though I had been using a 5D Mk3 at work for years.

Totally agree, pixel count isn't as important if you are not going to corp a lot or make huge print out of your photos. Get a good lens in many case is much more important than pure pixel count for image quality.

If they are claims on the production, pushback on those and file a counter-claim. They can not claim copyright on the production (mechanical rights) of something that doesn't use their exact thing. Particularly if it's performed by your orchestra.

For theatrical rights, you may need to individually negotiate for anything not in the public domain. But recording and putting it on youtube is a separate thing. As long as it's PD, just pushback politely saying it's PD and not theirs.

Youtube's entire system for reporting and counter-claiming assumes you're a baby pushing random buttons, so make sure to actually have someone familiar with copyright law actually look at everything you're using in the opera to see if there might be some, remote, claim on it, but as long as you know it's PD, nobody can claim to own it.

I've only ever pushed back on two things before, as they were claimed by third parties who produced covers of another rights owner's music. I never got a claim from the original rights owner, only this third party, and since it's impossible for me to have copied the third parties music (it was generated by a simulated instrument on the computer) it was pretty easy to push back on. With that said, had the first party claimed it, I would have just left the claim as-is, as deleting the music from that part of the game would have defeated the purpose of pointing out what it sounds like on that device.

the copyright situation is so retarded that it could very well be that mozart is still the copyright holder...
Actually what might have happened is that the performance is similar to something, so the AI flagged it.
As I said the copyright laws make no sense and on youtube the algorythm has gone rogue

Just so that we're clear: I am not a copyright lawyer, I hold no law practicing license of any kind, matter of fact. I believe this to be true of most people that you will get help from here.

Have you tried disputing the claims with YouTube directly? If so, the best thing you can do is what @VegetableStu has suggested. Get in contact with a copyright lawyer. For the time being, I believe it's best to keep your videos private/unlisted, until you're able to resolve your issues. They will be able to guide you through what is and isn't copyright protected, the laws around it, and if your works are part of a protected group, creative commons, public domain, etc.

There are copyrights both on the performance and the composition. If the composition's protection hasn't expired, which is an ungodly amount of time then you still need proper licensing from the rights holder to distribute a performance of it.

But yeah, any claims need to be dealt with manually.

Type 2501 got a reaction from NumLock21 in RTX 2070 or VEGA 56
It really depends on what games you are going to play, because the Vega 56 performs better only in some games.
I switch from a msi 1070 gaming x to xfx vega 56 double edition a few weeks ago, the performance gain is unnoticeable in 1440p 60Hz, and wattman is sometimes challenging to use compare to afterburner.

After all, the experience has not been flawless, but I am much happier to live without a Nvidia product, even if it is a bit louder, use more electricity when overclocked, and overall not much faster.

Type 2501 got a reaction from Firewrath9 in Vega 56 HBM Temp reading go crazy.
I just got myself a second handed Vega 56 AIB card. While I am having fun tweaking the voltage and clock. The HBM can't go anywhere above 915mHz without artefact, and the coil whine is very bad (I think it is about the HBM, because every time I change the HBM volt and hit apply, the whine will stop for half a second) at first I thought I just lose the lottery on HBM.

But then I notice something is very wrong with the HBM temperature reading from GPU-Z:
The HBM temp reading is jumping between normal (50 to 70) and over 1000 degree! The image below is taken when the GPU running at balanced profile with Hevan benchmark running on background.

    Nomal:

    Max HBM Temp:

I google a bit and found no other case like that, so there is very little chance it is the problem of AMD drivers or GPU-Z. Does anyone of you seen something like that?

I really should RMA this card, lucky that it still under warranty.

Type 2501 got a reaction from zedsdeath in Help me decide between these PSU
I think you can wait for a sale when something better reaches your target price point (if you can wait at all). I really don't recommend going cheap on PSU, because it might introduce tones of problems down the line, and it might cost you more to fix that problem years later.

Type 2501 got a reaction from Taf the Ghost in Vega 56 to replace 1070?
A much smaller PCB is a side effect when using HBM, it was meant to lower production cost(if HBM isn't so damn expensive) and improve power delivery path. And I heard the reference vega card has very good VRM, just can't say the same about its cooler.

XFX usually makes good GPU, the rx590 fatboy is solid. I am just a bit surprised about how little info about the vega card is available.

I prefer AMD too, and I had to trade my R9 290 for a 1070 few month before. It is just not good enough for 1440p gaming, not to mention how hot it gets.

I totally agree with your point. If you feel you had been screw by RTX, just don't buy it.

If you have to move your computer a lot, put some packaging material inside the case to stop the GPU and cooler moving around.
Btw, why don't you consider the D14 or even the U14 with push pull? They should be good enough for most cup with a decent overclock. (ignore if you are planing to OC on x299 or x399 platform)

I think it's the common problem of any first gen product. It always cost a lot more, and it didn't perform very well.

Think of the first gen iPhone , promised to change the world, but only runs on 2g. And didn't do texting or email any better than a cheaper blackberry.

It's just a complete trash to budget minded (aka cheap) person like me.

I think it's the same story for the 2080ti. Yes it is exciting in a technological stand point, and make no sense if you are looking for value. Just skip it.

I was thinking should I give my PC a name too. Untll giving it a personality make me feels like a slave owner.

Because my PC is a video editing and rendering (part time gaming) workhouse. It often work overnight when I went to bed.  Another PC is a NAS, which has to stay on 24/7 no matter what. Which feels very much like force labor.

To make sure I sleep well every night while leave it working 100% for hours and hours, I will not give them names.

Type 2501 got a reaction from AlTech in Best country for immigration?
I really have to agree with @AluminiumTech. Hong Kong is really not a place to go if you are not already wealthy and want to gain citizenship.

The general public do not welcome foreigners as much as it seems. It will be very difficult for you to look for a job that support a respectful life.

And for reasons I can't explain without mentioning politic, Hong Kong isa very hard place to look for a living if you are not immigrat from mainland China. You will never get full citizenship only because you are not Chinese.

I born and lived in Hong Kong, and saw the fallen of it. It is no longer the British colony known by the world.

Become a citizen of other country isn't just replacing passport and ID cards. You have to really become one of them. It is guaranteed to be difficult because you will be working hard to become what you are not.

And most importantly, don't join another country unless you are willing to do your part and contribute as a member of the society. Citizenship has to be earned.

The ccx module is not a small chip, it is just impossible to fit a 10cu Vega unit with 2 ccx under the IHS. Even in 12nm process, that's why it is no 6 core apu.
Maybe it can be done under 7nm process, but the cost of having 6 or 8 cores with a vega gpu may end up be a non-competitive product.
