  1. Budget (including currency): good question (depends on what I'll be buying) Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly iRacing, sometimes COD So guys I have a R5 1600 and a GTX 1060 3gb and recently upgraded and added 2 sticks of 4 gb, so now Im sitting at 16gb of RAM. My question is whats the smartest upgrade here? Getting a new ryzen or a new GPU. I dont see any CPU related issues tbh but I still have some compatibility issues that tilt me with overclocking but the 3gb of VRAM are bottlenecking me a lot. The upgrade wont be atm and I'll be waitting for the new releases of the 3000x series but just wondering on you guys opinion. Cheers everyone, all the best
  2. ahaha to late mate, but Its really odd because it posts and boots, the only issue is that it isnt giving fucks to the boot order, thas why Im saying its probably a firmware related issue, as it is the 1st version of the bios. But its odd cause its only with the SSD, for example if I put a flash drive 1st in the boot order and plug one in, it instantly boots into whatever its on it (ex: it was win 10), I will eventually boot with the EZ debug light will blink twice before booting into windows.
  3. Yeah, but my problem is that the board is skipping the SSD and not instant booting from it. It is basicly just saying Fuck the boot order im the boss in town and do whatever the fuck I want, thats why I think its a bug. Probably instability issues
  4. Yeah and btw, Im running G Skills V 2800Mhz and its clocked at 2667. (when I 1st booted into the BIOS was 2133 so I changed it )
  5. Hey guys, I just built my first PC yesterday and It posts and I already installed Windowns and all the drivers, I installed the windows 10 on a Samsung 850 EVO 250 gb. The problem is Ive set , in the BIOS, So that it boots the SSD 1st with the OS, atm its something like SSD>USB>HDD>CD/DVD etc till floopy last. And everytime I try to boot up the computer is taking something like 20 ich seconds or more (ryzen 1600 , WD 1TB Blue, 1060 3gb etc ), and The light at the right side of the CPU blinks twice till it boots, as I think she is jumping the SSD boot, but boots later, what is odd. Its on the 1st BIOS version though , my question is could the BIOS update fix it? Thanks everyone , cheers.
  6. GL waitting for the stock on that 480 XDD, maybe when the electricity price goes X10 maybe they will come back, but a man can only dream...
  7. The title says it all, what are you guys opinions here? Whatss the BEST of the BEST, whats the best budget and so on?
  8. Hey one question thought, when it says "Size" is it the total size or the size of 1 stick?https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#support-mem-2
  9. Oh, Alright, and after you failed to get it up to 3200Mhz you had to reset the hole thing? But yeah I got it
  10. Btw sry for being "noob" when it comes to ram, when you say it didnt work what do you mean by that ? Thx
  11. Yeah its odd, but by now 4 dimms at that speed isnt that bad I think so
  12. Yeah I know , unless some real voltage is applied, but with normal cooling ppl get like 4.2 max? With LN ppl get more but thats just funny to see, but ill be overclocking like 500mhz from the base clock (1600). Thx for the reply!
  13. Yeah thats what I plan on to do, and it wont be super huge for starters (with stock cooler something arround 3.7-3.8)
  14. The title says alot, and my doubt is if this Corsair PSU will be able to handle some CPU overclock (1600) GPU (1060) and a bit of RAM?
  15. If you are willing to pay it, the MSI Pro Carbon is the best B350 out there, and I belive to be the only one with 8 power phases! EDIT: I didnt want to quote this but I cant quote What I wanted neither so, This is about the mobo choice!
