i play a lot of racing games and fps like overwatch and stuff so i think im gonna go with the fps boost

yea i think im gonna go with 144hz i love fps i just wanted to make sure it was gonna make a difference

i play alot of overwatch too so thats why this is so hard

also since you guys might know whats a good cheapish 1440p monitor

yea that what i was thinking because the 1440p would make other content look good too

i do mostly gaming but also do alot of watching stuff too

I'm gonna get a 980 ti and was wondering which is more enjoyable 1080p at 144hz or 1440p 60hz. I'm gonna get another monitor and was just torn between deciding which one.

That's great thanks i'm glad some one was able to help me that has a very similar system and its great too know that someone else understands you don't always have to have the newest system to have a great computer

ok thanks im not gonna go for a crazy overclock i'm probably just gonna do like 4.2 to 4.5 which i have have heard is a piece of cake on the 2600k

yea i got the chip like 2 years ago and it works great got it for 110 out of a old dell optiplex 790 yea i have a cm hyper 212 evo so i might overclock it at some point thanks for all the help you guys have been

no i just run mine stock thanks that's helpful to see a similar system. So that's good too know that i'm not that crazy putting a 2011 cpu with a 980 ti.
