  1. Just to confirm, you're talking about a software reinstall, not hardware, right? I am 99% sure the graphics card was installed correctly.
  2. CPU-Z is saying 1506 MHz for core clock speed of my 1070
  3. Hey everyone, I finished my first build yesterday that takes advantage of Corsair's iCUE system. I absolutely love it, but what's up with the GPU usage? Is it supposed to be this high? I'm confused why a simple program needs any GPU power to begin with.
  4. Here's my part list if anyone's wondering, I have the pro in there right now but i'm curious what the actual difference is with the pro and elite versions. Should I just stick with the pro? 5. I don't mind spending extra money, along as it's not a ripoff lol. And, you don't think that power supply is good? I've been told 850w is overkill anyways for this build.
  6. Hey everyone, so I keep debating with myself weather I should spend the extra $80 and get an i9 instead of an i7 for my build. I will be doing heavy gaming and moderate video editing in Adobe Premiere on the daily basis. Will I see $80 worth of performance if I opt for the i9 with this setup? Here is my current part list with the i7: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $418.89 @ Amazon CPU Cooler Corsair - H100i PRO 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $84.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard Gigabyte - Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $202.98 @ SuperBiiz Memory G.Skill - Sniper X 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $229.99 @ Newegg Business Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive $297.99 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital - Black 4 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $169.99 @ Amazon Video Card MSI - GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Founders Edition Video Card Case Corsair - Obsidian 500D RGB SE ATX Mid Tower Case $249.99 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $122.07 @ OutletPC Case Fan Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.25 CFM 120mm Fans $119.89 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1936.68 Mail-in rebates -$40.00 Total $1896.68 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-02-15 18:30 EST-0500
  7. Hey everyone, thanks for your suggestions! I just made a few small changes: 1) RIP RGB Ram 2) i7 instead of i9 3) Better motherboard with those savings I would LOVE to get NVME storage, but I need at least 2TB, and the current prices are just simply crazy PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $409.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler Corsair - H100i PRO 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $84.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard Gigabyte - Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $199.99 @ Amazon Memory G.Skill - Sniper X 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $229.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive $297.99 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital - Black 4 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $169.99 @ Amazon Video Card MSI - GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Founders Edition Video Card Case Corsair - Obsidian 500D RGB SE ATX Mid Tower Case $249.99 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $99.89 @ OutletPC Case Fan Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.25 CFM 120mm Fans $119.99 @ Corsair Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1902.71 Mail-in rebates -$40.00 Total $1862.71 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-02-14 19:49 EST-0500
  8. Not really in the mood for a AMD vs Intel debate right now, but I think Intel CPUs play better with Adobe Premiere. I could be wrong however.
  9. Hey people, so I just finalized my part list for my new PC build. I currently have a i7-3770k which has served me well over the years, but is clearly starting to show it's age. I want to go for a durable, dependable PC that will last me another 5+ years since I will be doing heavy gaming & moderate video editing on the daily basis. Let me know your thoughts of if I should change anything out that may be more reliable or better for the price. My budget is ~$2000 (The only thing i'm transferring over is my current GTX1070) All opinions are welcome. 10. I personally have never had any issues with my 1070 and 1440p gaming. Works perfectly at max settings.
