Thanks for confirming what I hoped would be the answer. -

Great! I was wondering whether it would be borderline. I guess if it can't cope I can cross that bridge when I get to it. -

1 - Realistically at least a couple of years. 2 - RM 550 - so I know I'd need to grab something with some more power. I've got my eye on some RM1000xs on ebay which for some reason seem to be selling for similar if not less than some 850xs -
Long story short, after being in a cupboard for 6 months in my pc, the GPU died. So I'm in the market for a new one - wondering about an RX 5700 or an XT for 1440p gaming. Currently got a 4670k OC'd to 4.2Ghz which I have a feeling will drag the GPU down a fair amount given the 5+ years age difference, do you think that'll be the case? Based on that assumption and not feeling I can justify shelling out for a completely new system right now - I'm thinking it would be worth picking up a used 4970K for ~£150+ too add a bit of power? Or is it not going to make a big difference and would I be better off saving that money and just picking up an older GPU second hand (980ti vega 56 £150-200 range) as an interim until I get a whole new system? Thanks.

My favourite part is unoriginal, the brushed aluminium finish.

I'd say the build quality, 90% metal chassis is mind blowing.

Just received my first mechanical keyboard ... I think I'm in love
Santa replied to Santa's topic in Peripherals
As I've never had sustained hands-on on another proper keyboard, I don't really have a good precedent to work from, but it feels bloomin' solid compared to the Tt Challenger Pro I was using before, with not a whole lot of flex. My only gripe is the space bar, the plunger seem to be rubbing a little, giving the nasty plastic on plastic sound, but that should go with a bit more use. And as for your earlier question about the design of the space bar, it's just the standard one that comes pre-attached with the standard Shine3, there is also red WASD and a blank space bar included.- 20 replies

I had no idea I was missing such a wonderful thing, it's just so satisfying to type now. Ducky Shine 3, Blue backlight with Brown keyswitches. A big thanks LTT forum for the information that brought me to this purchase.
