Hahaha yeah, as if that means much. Apple signed it the first time back in 09 when everyone settled on micro usb. They still used 30pin and lightning.
-
?? Nah. Maybe the connector itself, but most certainly not the cable. Every apple cable ends up like this because they do not understand how to put function over form where it is important: strain relief. It was a problem on the original 30pin cables, it's still a problem now, meanwhile there are many many usb-c cables from the device manufacturers that include proper strain relief to prevent fraying. USB c does more anyways... for instance, there is a reason the newer macbooks didn't use lightning for charging. why would apple not make someone using their whole ecosystem of products able to more conveniently use 1 apple charger
-
Original source is BGR Leaked photos seem to confirm the rumored iPhone USB type C charging, which would finally have apple using a standard charging method rather than a proprietary one. No more extra cables to carry aroung or hunting for someone with the right charger for your phone. The charger sample in the photo is also marked as supporting 9V Fast charging rather than just standard 5V charging, which could help make its charging speeds more competitive with many flagship android devices of late.

https://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-11-series-geforce-gtx-1180-graphics-card-lenovo-spills/ So, I guess this settles the 11xx vs 20xx series naming once and for all? 11xx makes more sense anyways. Plus this kinda falls in line with the recent news on new gddr6 production and the recent prototype board photo. To me it may be interesting what this will do to the crypto mining scene, and then also to used card prices...wouldnt be surprised to see a bunch of used 1080s dumped fairly cheap soon.

Things I might suggest, as a mech keyboard enthusiast: redragon is honestly a pretty good brand for the price especially if you can get it under 50usd. If you don't need the number pad, there are a lot of boards around in the 45-65 usd area. Some other brands to check out would be motospeed, magicforce [smaller] [fullsize board], rosewill, heck even the coolermaster masterkeys s pbt isn't much more, and that's a very very nice board. (amazon/newegg links for reference ) check out used boards, you can sometimes find some great deals. I'd suggest looking on ebay, craigslist (or local equivalent), and r/mechmarket on reddit, those are places I've had luck buying from. (nb: I personally own the coolermaster board, a magicforce 68key, and a motospeed 61key. The magicforce I have modified a lot but it is my daily board. The motospeed just has a terrible driver/lighting program in my experience, and the CM has cherry reds, which aren't a switch i can use comfortably.)

Gonna sound a bit rude here, but...get something wired. Hear me out though: Bluetooth will always sound inferior to a quality analogue wired connection because of how it works. All the sounds coming out of the device (pc, phone, etc) are mashed together into 1 audio stream, and compressed (with loss) before being sent to the headphones. This doesn't mean there aren't good sounding bt headphones, just that they will never be better than wired. That said, I had a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2 wireless that sounded great. I can't claim to be an audiophile, (I'm more into keyboards) but they were the best sounding set I've used personally. Though they were on-ear, the ear pads were fairly comfortable for long, long listening sessions (think 5-7 hrs+) and the active noise cancelling was quite good, almost as good as bose.

Brown switches would make a much less shard click. adding o-rings to your keycaps will reduce the thock sound of fully pressing (bottoming out) the switch too. But it might not be the best option.

or a bluetooth reciever

Xbox One controller is non rechargable, no cable included. It will work on windows 10 in 2 different modes: connected with microusb cable it has audio passthrough to the controller's 3.5mm port. Connected over bluetooth, it does not. With the xbox one controllera, the microsoft dongle is only required for wireless audio passthrough, or multiple controllers.

No. It's a problem with how bluetooth audio works. http://www.androidauthority.com/no-headphone-jacks-bad-idea-opinion-805797/ Since bluetooth reencodes all the audio, it introduces lag. There are good quality bluetooth sets, but the lag is essentially unavoidable. Bearing that in mind, the LG Tone series have very reasonable audio quality for the price, and good battery life. I have the 730 and 760 models, the 760 can be had for $40 now.

I don't know anything about the vrm. I don't keep it overclocked at all, just for short bursts to get cinebench scores

A couple years ago, I used my note3 for "vr" with a cardboard compatible headset. I would regularly hit 120F+ after an hour, it would get too hot to handle. VR is cpu intensive for phones, higher temps are normal. Mobile hotspot also will cause slight heating in my experience, and adding in timelapse camera and quickcharge doesn't help. Probably just Samsung not designing for your usecase. They are all about the screen size and thickness these days, not performance. You have to remember, phones are basically totally sealed little computers with no active cooling or useful thermal mass (heat spreaders/sinks/pipes) whatsoever, wrapped in glass and plastic (both poor thermal conductors)

I have the B350 Tomahawk Arctic. It's...okay. Pros: It works. Great all white board. Steel reinforced gpu slot and ram slots rgb strip support onboard very good port placement (sata, usb3 header) Cons: Glaring red led for "no iGPU"...on ryzen... (finally fixed via bios update) White leds are on the back of the board. Completely covered by my mobo tray The stripe that they shine through to the front gives the leds a yellowish/greenish tint BLOATWARE. Nahimic, like 45 ways to slightly OC, gaming hotkey?,"smart charge for charging iphones, but you have to unplug everything" but not useful stuff like afterburner But it is worth it for my white pc aesthetic. 8/10 would reccomend.
