  1. Yepp, i upped it to max, then everything went fine with Kombustor
  2. So i had this new rx 580, a gaming x from MSI specifically with 8gb vram, so i tried this overclock at 1400Mhz with 2250 Mhz and + 5 voltage. I did the cooler boost in the gaming app so that, in theory, i wont experience thermo thorttling. So the overclock works fine, but then after a few hours of gaming, witcher 3 on ultra with a cpu of i3 6100 specifically, game crashes, says drivers died but recovered... after i restart, its back to the stock clock speed which is 1380. Am I doing something wrong here? Because that was just a small over clock, just 20 Mhz above the stock clock speed. Also, as you can tell, im a beginner in the overclocking game. Any help would truly be appreciated. Thank you
  3. Can I straight up use the apps there? There are some apps that had specific OS installations, will it affect their compatibilities?
  4. Hey guys, I would like to know the things I need to do to add my old 500gb hard drive to my new pc, I heard that you could add hard drives from laptops to desktop as they have the same ports such as SATA. The old hard drive coming from the old laptop(laptop is broken now) that i had, has Windows 8.1, different cpu and gpu drivers...... i really have some files there that would really save me time to get me up and game such as steam games etc. How could I add the drive to my system and have my old files back? Will the viruses from the old drive (idk if it had any) infect my new desktop hard drive? How do you "format" the drives to make them compatible?
  5. Wow it worked, I restarted and moved the ethernet cable one slot in the router. Thanks so much.
  6. I have a LAN Adapter, i connected the ethernet cables from my pc to the router, then that shows up...... My specs are: MSI b250m bazooka i3-6100 (ik its a skylake but its compatible and ill upgrade to kabylake later) g.skill ripjaws v 8g single 2400 Seagate barracuda sata 1tb
  7. Correct me if Im wrong, I need the Qualcomm Atheros Driver somethin, will installing a PCIe Wi-Fi module automatically install the driver? or at least a software with the same purpose?
  8. What do you mean by LAN drivers? The only network adapter that pops up in my device manager is the Realtek PCIe Family Controller.
  9. So I built this new PC, the graphics card is yet out of stock though i had the rest of the parts so I started building it and after that I installed windows. After I installed windows, (im already at the desktop wallpaper) I began to install the motherboard included drivers (the one in the CD) and updated them by downloading the updated versions in another pc and transferred it using a flash drive. So I got all my drivers and stuff, the only thing left is the Wi-Fi, my motherboard, MSI B250m Bazooka has no built-in wifi module. I discovered on the web that i need to buy wifi modules(PCI ones I read) in order to get wifi. Do i really need them? or i just have to download something on the web like a driver or something? With that out of the way, I tried to use ethernet cables instead and connect my pc to the router. What happens is that it connects, but it doesnt recognize it, it just says "Ethernet| No Internet Access" not mentioning the name of the router... With another devices such as my phone has internet while the pc connected with ethernet has not.... I really need the internet, any help would be reallyyyyyy appreciated.
