I really do not understand Linus' aversion to the speaker location.  
Not sure how many people actually use their phones speakers.
When you are in transit you usually use headphones, and when at home you either use something else to play back media or have a speaker.
 
Only reason I can see the speaker being used is for video conferencing/calling where having them at the front gives more of an immersion, but having it at the bottom does not really take much away from that (having them at the back makes this horrible though)
 
As for SD cards.  With the amount of storage available on phones these days why does anyone really need it?  I admit back in the day yeah this may have been a deal breaker for me, but now a days a phone with 64 GB will be more then enough for me.

That thread was informative.  May look into the Swan series, or the Creative Gigaworks as replacements.

$40 more than the G1 Gaming.
My prices are 359 for G1 Gaming and 399 for the MSI Golden Edition.
What I believe you are saying about the Windforce (the G1 Gaming has a Windforce cooler), is 339

I would love to see more cases for Home servers and Steam Machines.
Small clean aesthetics with plenty of room and cooling potential.
 
Home server cases:
 
Clean, quiet, itx, matax, 5-7 HDD cage with hot swap able bays.
 
Steam Machine case:
 
Quiet, itx/matax, ability to host a full length 2 slot high end card with good airflow to keep things cool, looks nice and clean.
 
 
Magnetic AIR filters, and get rid of the external 5.25 in slot in small and mid cases, use that room for something interesting.
