  1. So I am constantly dreaming about replacing my piece of crap 5 year old $300 ASUS laptop, it is very hard for me to decide what the perfect laptop for me is. Today's idea for the perfect laptop is as follows. 2 in 1 style detachable screen. The screen half includes i7 intel processor, 16gb ram, 256gb ssd, whatever the best 15.6" lightweight touch screen on the market is and a battery that will last 6 hours. The keyboard half would include one nvidia 1080ti, a mechanical keyboard but no touchpad, front facing speakers, (insert I/O list that geeks will agree with), and a secondary battery that lasts a little longer, maybe even an optical drive for those of us who rent from redbox. I don't see why you couldn't build a gaming keyboard for the surface pro tablet that would turn it from a super fast expensive tablet to a decent gaming laptop as well. What does your perfect laptop look like?
  2. Alright, so today I was "gifted" a CoolerMaster Elite 130 Mini-ITX case. I watched a few videos on guys using 120mm single rad AIO's to cool the CPU, then I got to looking at single rad AIO's to purchase and found the Corsair H5-SF. The problem I would run into is that the PSU would be in the way with the natural mounting of the H5-SF, but more than likely I wont be using the Optical Drive bay, I know I could just remove the bay and have that room or just run a single rad at the 120mm front fan. But im curious if anyone has seen or thought of building a blower rad like the H5-SF that could mount in the 5.25" Optical Drive slot to cool old computer cases that still offer that bay and have a mesh front for airflow. Might be stupid, might be cool. Let me know what you think, or if you could build one!!!!
  3. Hey guys, New here so there may already be discussion on this but I think this will be the right place to ask! I am looking to build a new home theater system for my apartment, I will be streaming tv, movies, and music through my computer. I will also be running an Xbox in the system, I'm not good enough to only play pc games yet. One big thing is, I want to be able to stream all audio through a pair of wireless headphones. What components would you use? - GPU and CPU? - Soundcard? - Bluetooth Transmitter? Wifi transmitter? - Wireless Headphones? Budget is $3000 If you have any experience with this sort of setup I would love to hear what you used and any problems you had.
