Just bought a great prebuilt with a gtx 1080 ti for under $2000 now I need a monitor that’s below $500 from Amazon. The one I am currently looking at is the acer predator XB241YU at $500 on Amazon. Is there any better options for this price range?

About the founders edition I just thought it looked cool. What would be a better option for the 1080 or 1080 ti then. Like I said I don't know much about pc, sorry.

Don't really care too much and would rather it be for gaming I could always use my old MacBook for school stuff I guess.

So I ended up returning a MacBook Pro I bought for college and have $2700 dollars to build a pc. I also need to get a monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I am going to have it built at a micro center and buy everything there since I don't think I could do it myself. But I don't know if a gtx 1080 or 1080 ti would be right for me, I want to game at 1440p with high frame rates and have it a little future proof. I also don't know what kind of CPU and how much ram to get or pretty much anything else since I was always a mac guy. I do want the graphics card to be a founders edition. Can you guys help me out? It's going to be for gaming. (I guess I can use my old MacBook for school stuff.)
