  1. I'm looking to upgrade my current CPU (r3 1200) which has been overclocked to 3.7GHz. Here is my current build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/9ptpQZ I want to purchase a used cpu for £100-200 ($100 to $250), however I'm completely unsure whether if would be best to go for a first gen r7(if so which one) or a more recent r5(I believe my mobo is compatible). Any suggestions would be appreciated!
  2. Hey guys, I've spent a few hours looking and I'm not sure what to do. I scavenged a hard drive from an old vista laptop of mine and decided to plug it into my pc to see what would happen, I managed to load up a few files, I got curious and tried to boot using the hard drive, it didn't work came up with looping windows repair and blue screen(attached). So remove the hardrive and tried to get back into windows 10,only to be welcomed with this automatic repair message (attached). It won't let me reset the PC while keeping the files, just saying there was a problem and no changes were made. I can't restore the system, can't go back to the previous version, haven't got an image of it to recover, safe mode does nothing. Any suggestions or should I just cut my losses and completely reset? Any suggestions appreciated
  3. Spending a little bit more for something better with a window seems like i good idea, thank you for the suggestions, i'm going to take a look at the meshify C it looks good and something i'd seriously consider. Thank you so much for your time and suggestions i really appreciate it.
  4. ahhh, thanks but I've already bought the Mobo, CPU, M.2 SSD and GPU . I went for the X370 for upgrade-ability, and i'm on a tightish budget so i thought the 970 would be better than the 1060 seeing as how much less expensive it was when it was at the time of purchase. Thank you though!
  5. ahhh, thanks but i've already bought the Mobo, CPU, M.2 SSD and GPU . I went for the X370 for upgrade-ability. Thanks anyway though!
  6. Hey I'm currently on my way to building my first PC, I'm 15 years old so i don't have a lot of cash to spend but I'm gradually buying the components I can afford(I've already bought the Mobo, CPU, M.2 SSD and GPU).I've managed to put together this part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Ckn3f8 I'm overall trying to make a 1080p Gaming PC with CPU(and maybe RAM and GPU) overclocking, but i'm trying to keep a black aesthetic . I was just wondering if anyone would could help by having a quick look at my build. I live in the U.K, i'm trying not to spend anymore than £300 ($400 US) . Open to any questions, any help appreciated! Many Thanks

  9. Thanks for the suggestion but looking at the B350 Pro4, says - 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Ryzen Series CPU) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with A-Series APU)**1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280/22110 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module both sockets are M key, would this support the m.2 drive i have ?
