  1. Well, I have a problem. I went to the asus site and looked for the new bios version. It had a note that it was recommended to use their ez update tool. So I did, just before it started it had a message "path to bios not found" or something similar. I don't exactly remember. About 1 second later this screen came up (I added image to post). It has been stuck on this screen for 30-40 minutes now. What can I do? Do I reboot? (I can alt+tab back to windows, but I didn't want to open anything)
  2. My bios is version 0606, newest is 0613, I don't how big of a difference that makes but I will go update now PRIME B350-PLUS BIOS 0609Improve memory stability patch notes for version 0609, my hopes are up
  3. Thank you for the reply, As far as I know it is just the AMD equivalent of XMP. You mean the RAM right? I am a bit of a noob to this, how do I know which RAM is intel based and which is amd based? RAM should be supported I think: "4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2666/2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory *1" source: https://www.asus.com/nl/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/specifications/ I guess I could try to manually set the specs.
  4. Hello, Let's start with the relevant parts in my PC. (Actually maybe CPU is relevant as well, it's a ryzen 5 1600) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jQF2M8 I checked in the BIOS and saw that my RAM is set to run on 2133MHz, so I wanted to change it (as I paid for 2666MHz). What I did was go into the BIOS -> Advanced Mode -> AI tweaker and set 'Ai overclock tuner' from 'auto' to 'D.O.C.P.'. When I try to boot it fails a few times (screen has no input), then it says something along the lines of 'overclock failed'. Also, since it said 'overclock failed', I was wondering. Does this count as overclocking? Because it's not right? I don't want to lose warranty
  5. @pxnguinPr3 I got the monitor for free from a friend to see whether I could fix it. The first half hour it worked fine then it kept going dark. So it could possible also be something dependent on temperature like a loose connection that bends at a higher temperature maybe? Would you know any way to find a faulty connection?
  6. @Xanthe_2871 Thanks for posting the link, though I had already seen the video ^^. I mainly need help with identifying the problem area
  7. Hello all, this is my first post here. I have a BenQ E2200HD monitor that works for a moment but then goes dark. When I turn it off and on again it works for 5 seconds before going dark again. After some research I believe this generally means it has a faulty capacitor so I took it apart. However, I don't see any bulging or leaking ones, just a few that are crooked. I made a few photos that I will add to this post in the hopes that maybe one of you can spot the problem. Thanks in advance.
