  1. Do you not have the room or power requirements to run both? You would be better off using both drives and not using a optical drive if you have one installed.
  2. Yea we have. I will hand it to them though they did make the Fiesta ST a quick car. It has a better power to weight ratio than the Fiat 500 Abarth and can still out-corner it. Everyone over here wants the expensive SUV's now instead of more practical wagons or vans. I can understand the need for the SUV's with needing the towing capability or the storage for work. But 90% of the people here don't need them. Mopar just killed off the Dodge Caravan. The last company to make an actual minivan. Kinda makes me sad to it.
  3. Not a bad idea! Def jealous that you guys got the Focus ST and RS before us over here in America!
  4. I've done that before on numerous occasions. I'd constantly leave them in my pocket after getting home from school or work. Eventually they would stop working. Good thing I never stored anything important on them.
  5. Sounds like me with my OCZ Vertex 2+ SSD that failed on me. THE EXACT SAME ONE Linus and Luke used in S5 of Scrapyard wars. Those drives were apparently notorious for failing. I used mine off and on for a few years and eventually ended up using it in my server as the main drive. Tried every trick in the book to bring it back since it had needed files and data. I was FURIOUS when I had found out about the failure rate because when I got it people had nothing but good things to say about it. I eventually took it to a field and emptied about 8 rounds of 9mm through it. Probably could have gotten the data off of it if I had sent it out somewhere, but really didn't want to spend tons of money on data I could have recreated with a few days of work.
  6. Unfortunately, these are the type of people they prey on. There are a few youtubers who are extremely entertaining to watch them really screw with them. One is HoaxHotel and the other is EachandEverything. They make games out of it too. HoaxHotel doesn't really do much with the computer. He just keeps them on the phone screwing with them as long as he can. EachandEverything is the one that really screws with them. Highly recommend these guys to everyone here if you want a evening of good laughs.
  7. Unfortunately it doesn't always help. I had one on my phone but it never worked as it should. I'm glad it's helping you though.
  8. I agree. This would be really interesting to see them do this.
  9. It's still using some sort of VOIP system based out of the region they have your number from. Since I have been screwing with them the number of calls I get has gone down. Not sure if it's been because I have called them out as a scammer or given them names like Ted Turner, Petter Griffin, or Jeb Bush. Either way it's still funny.
  10. I know I'm probably going to get some hate for saying this... But I would honestly like to see some present day laptop coolers. Unfortunately I travel too much to have a decent desktop to use. So I ended up getting a laptop since it could be used for tons of other things besides games. My current cooler works well with my laptop since has a flat and padded side and pulls air from the side up onto the bottom of the computer. So far it has lowered the temperatures at least 10C across the board when running games. I would like to see what other laptop coolers are out there and see if there are others that perform better (even if they are a bit noisy).
  11. I get phone calls from people claiming to extend the warranty on my cars (won't happen because both of them are over 14 years old and have over 200k mikes on them). And I just keep them on the line wasting their time up u till I reveal they are trying to warranty a truck that is from 1988... The other stuff I usually get calls about is usually the scam related to credit card debt. The key here is to not reveal how much debt you are in or any personal information. Just again keeping them on the line as long as you can. And the more they get pissed off and stay on the line the less people they can scam. Very rarely do I get the call about a virus being on my computer or a Microsoft scammer claiming my windows key expired. Either way I usually, again, keep them on the line as long as I can to keep them from scamming others. If if you really want to play with them when you get bored you can set up a VM. My favorite thing to use is an anonymous VPN, VM, and fire rtc so there is no chance in hell they can track my actual location.
  12. You could set up a windows homegroup. That would be the easiest way (depending on the operating system you are using). If you are going from windows to Linux (or vise versa) a samba share would be the easiest thing to use.
  13. I bought an Asus Eee PC back when netbooks were all the craze... but I didn't get the good version... I bought the one with an 8 gig SSD, 1 gig of ram, and the 7 inch screen... it worked for exactly what I neededwheni was in college. However, after a few months of using it I became very quickly disappointed and ended up buying something else in the end that worked a hell of a lot better and got me through the rest of college.
  14. I got those speeds on my phone a while back... almost right after I hit my data cap on my cell phone. Thank god I made sure my internet contract doesn't have a data cap.
