Pretty much as _d0nut has said, it would be better to wait it out for a month. 
 
Going from what we already know about Ryzen 3000 and Navi etc, I'd go for a Ryzen 5 3600 and then either a 5700XT or something like an RTX 2070 for a great start into PC gaming. That combination should last you a good few years of playing at 1440p. 

Yeah blues can be pretty loud switches. The SteelSeries board has their own custom switches which are quiet, but linear. So if the nice tactility of the blues is what you're after I'd suggest a different board with maybe brown switches as a nice in between. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of browns aside from the Gateron Browns I have in my Anne Pro which I find to be pretty good.

@f2bacon The CoolerMaster MasterKeys S is a good board for the price (usually around 80-100) but unfortunately the TKL seems to be unavailable on Amazon atm.
The SteelSeries Apex is under $100 currently and is a TKL with RGB.
You could also look at some of Drevo's offerings as they're usually pretty good price wise.

This is definitely the way to go. Wait for benchmarks and see how things pan out. I'll admit I kind of rushed into my Radeon VII purchase as I wanted something better than a 1080 but had no real interest in the RTX lineup. Now, I'm not disappointed with my purchase but it seems like with how Navi is panning out, I could've gotten 80% of the performance the VII is giving me for a lot less noise and heat and almost half the price. Sometimes it pays off to wait a little longer.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother overclocking it at all. It's more trouble than it's worth. The performance increase from overclocking a low end card like that would be minimal.

I had the exact same problem with my 1440p screen. The issue actually fixed itself when I updated to the new YouTube layout. Head over to https://www.youtube.com/new to start using the new layout. 

You may need to upgrade your BIOS but other than that it should be as simple as dropping it in. The 7700k is a hot running chip so high temperatures are fairly normal but I'd aim to keep it under 80-85c. You should be fine at stock but I wouldn't go near overclocking with that cooler. 

Honestly, I'd just drop a 7700k in it and call it a day. There's no real reason to spend a premium on a new motherboard and CPU when you'd be getting similar performance from just a CPU upgrade. Although saying that, the cooler might struggle a bit with a 7700k. 

The difference isn't huge, but there is an improvement in games and also in anything productivity related due to the extra cores and threads. Also, the 8700k wouldn't work in your current mobo since all Coffee Lake CPU's require a Z370 board due to slightly different pin out voltages. If you really want the best of the best and not have to worry about upgrading for a while, the 8700k IS the better CPU and will probably last longer due to those extra cores. Z370 also looks like it should be compatible with the new i9's coming out so there's still and upgrade path if you decide the 8700k isn't enough. Ultimately it's hard to tell what will last and what won't. If the gaming industry suddenly becomes more core oriented than clock speed oriented, then Ryzen will out last the current Intel chips. 

Xiaomi devices are great value for money. I have the previous model, the Redmi Note 4x and it's fantastic. Parts are cheap for it too, for example I ended up cracking the screen and a replacement screen cost me £25 and I got it replaced by myself in about 20 minutes.

All 3 of those should do you well, with the 1060 and RX 580 getting you more performance than the 1050Ti.

Pretty solid build, but I'd go with a CX450 over the VS 450 for the PSU as they're a little bit better. If possible, I'd stretch to a B350 board so you can overclock the CPU if ever needed.
