that's what we call overclocking....?
overclocking the CPU or the Ram ?
could you please link me an article about this matter

I need somebody to explain to me how it could be possible to take advantage of 4000 MHz ddr4 RAM in an actual working system or build ?!?
I know a lot of Motherboards supports 4000 and above but when you look at the Specs of the CPU Intel or AMD brand it does not support that speed!
e.g. i9 9900k = 2666 or Threadripper or ryzen 7 =2933 , I couldnt find any CPU that support even the 3200 MHz!!
my understanding is that the 3 components RAM &CPU & Motherboard should support the frequency
so if the motherboard supports that high ram speed and the CPU does not it will work at a lower speed like 2666 or 2400 or whatever the value may be
I hope you get my point exactly
the ram is installed in the board and they are compatible but when it comes to the ram to interact with the processor at maximum Speed and the ram manufacturer make 4000 or 3200 MHZ module but the CPU specs lower memory bandwidth 2666 , what is the benefit of getting high speed ram such as hyper x predator 3200 kit or 4000 ??????
how would the system as a whole reach that level of speed ?

well, I was introduced to the term Net Neutrality recently and have a question.
it's a concern only in the U.S or it is global and how do I know if it's affecting my country ???
I live in the middle east

Please read carefully thus my question isn't general! I want to understand a specific thing concerning Bitcoin, the abundance of this currency, I know there will only 21 million Bitcoin in the year 2140, but away from mining and focusing in buy sell this currency there is no roof for what anyone want to buy like there is no limit so the Bitcoin market is parallel to the mining coins and that leaves us with more than 21 million coins eventually right?!!(thinking of investors for example) I mean there have to be sources for it \\ or it just the coins that generated via mining \\ I hope you understand my question I am pretty confused at the moment !! I don't want to Mine just trying to grasp the god damn thing, been watching various videos and documentaries for 2 weeks now and the more I learn the more questions I have it's frustrating

Just use separate cables straight to the monitor, no need to route them through the KVM or switch on the PC-end
you are right \ but my monitor have one vga input\ and in this scenario I should have 2 keyboards 2 mouses !!!
the KVM is better in my case

I know my post is a bit long but please read carefully
so after a little research, I am planning on buying a KVM switch for my 2 PCs ( one custom build "NEW" and another prebuilt COMPAQ Pentium 4 "OLD")
note: I've never used a KVM switch before just know its function.
I only need to connect 2 PCs so I know for sure all I need is 2 ports switch
mainly I have 2 concerns:
#1 does it matter if the KVM is cheap or expensive or of a known brand?!? the avialable in my area are TRENDnet TK-207K \\ and other Chinese unknown manufacturers. my budget is below 50$
#2 is there a way that I don't need to calibrate the screen resolution(also other settings) every time I switch between the 2 PCs
thus the hardware is different and one PC have win7 the other win10.
really sorry for the long post but I needed to explain exactly my issue here, any advice or tip is much appreciated so please share your experience .
Thanks in advance
is there a way that I don't need to calibrate the screen resolution(also other settings) every time I switch between the 2 PCs
and I didn't know what to search on google for this, if anyone could provide useful link or info about this

Even so I would still try and save up to get a new monitor. I also don't understand why you need to use two different PCs.
2 different sets of data 2 different OS\ but most of the time am on the new PC \ I can save money but to buy a decent IPS monitor it'll cost around 500$ so comparing 500$ on new monitor or 40$ish on a switch I'll go with the switch

Wow, one VGA input. Tbh I would invest in a new monitor rather than some sort of switch.
you are absolutely right
but maybe next year so I can get an awesome monitor IPS \ I don't want to get any display to get going and also after building my fist PC nearly cost me 900$ I am broke

Why don't you just put each PC into different inputs on the monitor and then switch inputs when you need to switch PCs? I don't think the resolution would need to be calibrated because the resolution is dependent on the monitor not the PC.
my monitor is very old and has one VGA input

Put it into another pc and use diskpart command since its your boot drive u cant use this command within windows.
CMD(ADMIN)-Diskpart-List disk-Select disk (find your disk number) ex"select disk 1"-Enter-Clean-Enter-Go do disk management and u can make a new partition.
that clarifies a lot of things thank you for your help \ are you an engineer?

Delete another partition and see if the unallocated space merges with it. If it does, create a new partition from that. But if it doesn't, I mean... it's 15MB. I get the OCD you might be getting, I'd be annoyed too, but is it a big problem if you can't fix it?
it's not a big deal \ I think I will leave it unallocated then

Have you tried using Linux to manage some of the space? Windows and Mac have been known to leave annoying free space not visible by the OSes as well.
I am planning on Dual Boot Linux Ubuntu along side Win 10 but don't want to delve in it right away because had an accident in the past forced me to wipe all my data and reinstall the OS all over again\
looking for a solution inside win for the time being
thank you for quick response

I only have one storage drive M.2 Samsung 250 GB
there is a little partition that I can't get rid off around 15 MB can't delete it neither merge it with the C: or D:, do I keep it unallocated and that's it
any help would be great, hope the pics help you fully understand what is going on, one other thing I downloaded Magician software and run the performance benchmark but didn't know what all the numbers mean and is it good or low I am confused with the results, thanks in advance

Despite trying all the things you could do such as limiting your startup items, etc., there are only so many things you can do and so many things you can try but in the end, it is what it is. The speedometer in my truck says it will do 120 miles per hour but we all know that since it is a truck with a diesel engine in a 3/4 ton body that it will never go that fast no matter how hard I press on the pedal on the floor.
Sometimes just got to accept things the way they are and continue to hope for more.
I am aiming for a small margin of improvement my friend, I don't want to boot in 3 seconds coz it's impossible but I am looking to anything "below" 20secs I know ppl had accomplished that!
not disagreeing with totally let's say you could drive your truck downhill for "Slightly" faster

I will mingle with the bios and desktop and try booting, I wish to reach 15s would be sweeeeeeeeeet

Hi everyone,
finished my new PC build and I would like to have the fastest boot to win10, approximately 22 seconds which isn't bad but I think the system could be faster, there is one drive Samsung 960 Evo M.2 NVMe 250 GB more than 160 GB is FREE.
so any kind of help would be wonderful, also if you like recommending a Youtube video wich has a clear steps to do faster boot times that will also work.
Thanks in advance

you are right about the zip ties, should left them for the very last.
I will read the MB manual
thank you

Hi all
please check the video, tried to explain what I need for finishing the PC build. Sorry for the bad quality of the video

Capture Card Hardware ?
in Peripherals
Posted
I tried searching google for capture card hardware components, but didn't find anything useful
For example a GPU you know it has gddr5 vram and a specific architecture and cuda cores and a lot of technical details , but when it comes to video capture cards I reached a dead end !
so any one knows or can give a link to a valid source I can look for about the components soldered on the pcb (in this case we are talking about internal capture card "PCIe")
I hope my question was clear enough.
