  1. I am personally not gay but I have many friends and family the are.
  2. Where at yo? Its normal price on Amazon and Newegg.
  3. The two monitors I am between are the Dell S2417DG and the XB271HU you mentioned. The Dell gets better reviews on Amazon by a small margin but I see more reviews about the issue described in this thread on the Dell. I personally don't know which I am going to go with.
  4. Thanks for the awesome response! I really like the look of the Acer panel but I probably will end up going with the Dell S2716DG as I do want 27' and its only 50 bucks more than the alternatives and has G-Sync.
  5. Yikes, that doesn't look right at all. I am really close to buying a new monitor (my new PC arrives in just a few days) but posts and reviews online like this really worry me. I don't understand why these panels look so underwhelming without tweaks to the settings.
  6. Thank you for the response Gazelle. If I end up spending 500+ I will probably go with the s2716dg. I have really read only good things once its calibrated and the settings are messed with. Would you have any suggestions for a cheaper monitor? I have the money for the Dell, I just don't know if I should justify it and would like some cheaper options to look at. I know for G-Sync I am looking at least $450 but I am not 100 percent sure I even need G-Sync. As you can probably tell I am pretty new to PC gaming. If anyone has anymore input or suggestions it would be well appreciated.
  7. Sorry about that. I have a Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz and a GeForce GTX 1070. As for games I play, I live MOBAs, FPS, a few MMOs, and I am looking to play some newer AAA games like The Evil Within 2 that is coming out soon and and Prey. As you can tell I like a variety of games. lol I look forward to your responses.
  8. Hi guys. I am a bit overwhelmed by all the choices for gaming monitors. : / There just are SO many options out there on Amazon. I was just checking out a few threads and I saw Dell's S2716DG as being a recommended choice. Do you guys have any other recommendations for me? I would like to stay below $500 if possible and the monitor be 1440p . The Dell S2716DG is like exactly $500 and I really can't spend more then that at this time. Thanks guys!
  9. Is it okay if I message you Dave? I am really valuing your input and would love to discuss this more. I am interested in the build you created on Cyberpower.
  10. Also, I don't see how CyberPowerPC is much cheaper. For example, I was looking at the most expensive build of the 1st tier on Digital Storm. Under best sellers the closest thing is the "BATTLEBOX 2017 ESSENTIAL PLUS" which has: Intel® Core™ Processor i7-7700K GeForce® GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 16GB DDR4/2400MHz RAM CyberpowerPC Z270 SLI Xtreme Motherboard 250GB WD Blue M.2 SATA SSD 2TB SATA3 7200 RPM HD I don't see how that is any better really and its just 100 dollars less. Also the CyberpowerPC brand part makes me nervous.
  11. I am in the US. Are their other services you guys would recommend? I remember checking out CyberPowerPC last night and I was a little overwhelmed by all the options on parts. I guess I have more research to do. Thanks for the responses guys!
  12. I really enjoy some of his older videos as well. I am a newer viewer of his but I really enjoyed the shows where he was still in the house. I LOVE Junk Yard Wars though. lol
  13. Hi guys! Its nice to be a new addiction to the community. I have been watching Linus Tech Tips for the last few months and enjoying the channel. I was looking to buy my first gaming computer and needed some advice. I have looked at several PC build sites and Digital Storm is standing out to me. They are expensive but the quality looks really good and my friend has one of their laptops that has worked for 3+ years now. To be fair, his experience is all I have to go on. More specially I am looking at the "VANQUISH". I am between "The Best" (for $1,387) which has: i7-7700 GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 16GB DDR4 Memory 240GB Solid State Drive 2TB 7200RPM Storage and the "Ultimate" (for $1,579) that has: Intel Core i7-7700K GeForce GTX 1070 8GB 16GB DDR4 Memory 240GB Solid State Drive 2TB 7200RPM Storage Do you guys have any input on which build I should go with or even other recommendations from other sites? I will look over and value any input I can get! I am just not comfortable building my own computer at this time and am looking to buy from Digital Storm or a similar build company. I will take any and all feedback or suggestions. Thank you!
