    Hi I am here just to share I have successfully installed Xeon E5450 3.0Ghz on my Vostro 220s (Mobo revision A00). All you need to do is to follow the above steps. Do not miss a single thing. Then follow up to disable that SpeedStep CPU feature in the BIOS. Hope that helps.
