  1. Check into AnyDesk. I had the same issue as you where TeamViewer started restricting me to 1-minute sessions for "commercial use detected". The main benefit I found for it over VNC was that it supports address book type functionality that Teamviewer had so no need to remember IDs. https://anydesk.com/en Apparently made by ex TeamViewer developers.
  2. Sounds like it may be thinking that it has multiple monitors plugged in if your desktop appears but with nothing on it? Could try moving the monitor cable to another output on the PC.
  3. Figured out what the issue was. CrashPlan had been running in the background backing up the C drive. This hasn't been an issue in the past (But it is likely it hadn't been backing up C drive files?) but it seems every time it started to transfer a relatively large file any game would stutter. Pausing the backup resolved the issue straight away. It's possible there's an issue with my CrashPlan installation as every so often the backup engine service fails and there also appears to be an issue with a CrashPlan upgrade failing.
  4. If you don't use Quick Connect I'd suggest disabling it (Teamviewer still works without it, all it is, is the little button on the program menu bar). I had the same issue as you and some games would work where some wouldn't (Some games automatically are ignored by QuickConnect) Options - Advanced - QuickConnect, then select Configure and untick the 'Show QuickConnect Button' to disable it.
  5. Do you have Teamviewer installed? If so the Quick Connect button can cause fullscreen to fail.
  6. https://gyazo.com/158174b42bc0a6fb996600383e33e616 Usage during the problem lag spikes. GPU clock drops in half? Any idea why that might happen?
  7. Generally have quite a bit open but usage is always around 40% https://gyazo.com/e781bb62deab97b8ad8275cef80bb5d3
  8. Great idea, no point having it on 100% all the time! (Was default) https://gyazo.com/e7577575a33fdb07d3af18f49b845796 The first usage drop was loading into game the second was a lag spike (Although it was different than normal as aux fans spun down could it be a power issue?)
  9. I've tried running with task manager open on the second monitor and it all appears to run at 3.3ghz constantly even during the lag spikes. CPU Power Management Maximum Processor Frequency - 0 MHz (?) Minimum Processor State - 100% System Colling Policy - Active Maximum Processor State - 100%
  10. Yep used DDU. Hmm I actually just double checked and the game wasn't installed on the m.2 but on the Samsung SATA SSD 840 EVO. I tried moving it to the M.2 but exactly same issue. Wouldn't the throttling only be an issue when transferring a lot of data? A game like Rocket League I can't imagine it would be making data transfers too much mid game right? Is there a way I could test to see if it is the SSD?
  11. Case temps are around 35-40c when gaming, I have 2 top mounted 120mm and 2 side mounted 120mm controlled by the graphics cards with 1 front and 1 rear fan. Rear 120mm fan is used by the AIO watercooler for CPU. M.2 sits at around 50c and is located under the two graphics cards so it is possible it may get hotter. Drivers are up to date plus tried clean instal on Nvidia drivers
  12. Hey guys, Looking for some help here, basically, after around an hour of playing Rocket League, I start to get FPS drops from around 170 to 10 FPS that last for a split second. Enough to be incredibly annoying but not enough to really figure out what is actually happening... Specs Intel i7 5820K (Was overclocked, however, turned to default during troubleshooting & Hyperthreading Disabled) 2 Asus Strix 1070 in SLI with NVidia HB bridge (Was overclocked, turned to default as above) MSI Gaming 7 X99A 16gb Corsair LPX RAM (Not overclocked) The game is installed on m.2 Samsung NVME 950 Pro with Windows also installed here. This is a recent reinstall of Windows (Did not have the problem prior to reinstalling), drivers are up to date. Thermals Graphics cards are 55 and 65 degrees Celsius when lag occurs Processor is 55 also so shouldn't be any thermal throttling (when running stress tests max temps are 80 across each component) And idea what might be going on? I get some serious lag when I open up the options menu as well which made me think it may be an issue with the storage device?
