Was thinking about getting a 49" uws Samsung LC49G95TSSEXXY LG 45GR95QE-B or should I just go for a 34" uws monitor I use 2 monitors for work but only one of the monitors for gaming, i play fps mostly and also city builders. Can you guys please recommend me something I can research? Thanks
  2. Why does he make it so difficult for himself. I recently got https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07QCTN71J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_VA1DB0PQ0ZQDXYNSDQVS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 It is a non subscription device, connects to your WiFi. Works with Google home, has a timer to automatically close the door after x time. Allows you to close/open from anywhere in the world. I got it because my garage kept opening at random times. Best purchase I ever made.
  3. Hi gang, Me again, im wondering if I could remove the fan switch (I dont use it) and put in a USBc port in its place. Carbide Series Quiet 400Q Compact Mid Tower Case with a bit of cutting and gluing. What do you guys think?
  4. HI, I have got a Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 - 850 Watt PSU https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/be-quiet-dark-power-pro-11-850-watt-psu-review,4.html and getting a X570 AORUS MASTER Can that PSU support the Mainboard or do I need to get a new PSU, I ask because this Mainboard has got 2x 12v ATX.
  5. It is beneficial to go with nvme or the cost saving option of SSD?
  6. I was going to buy a Western Dig Black but people on here say go with SSD/nvme, its better so was going with 2TB SSD/nvme each. I would like to keep the VR games on the PC just incase (when lockdown is over) for friends/family to come around and be able to play VR and dont have to wait for me to re-download the games etc.
  7. Im going to build a VRPC for the loungeroom to plug my Quest into and also WiFi my quest to this PC. Im going to get a AMD Ryzen 5700x CPU and a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Motherboard. Im thinking of getting a Gen 4 mvme for the C drive (What is a good 500gig drive to get?) Also, im thinking of getting 3 nvme drives 1 for Vive VR Games, 1 for Steam VR and one for Oculus VR. The issue is that I will need to get a SilverStone ECM23 M.2 to PCIe Adapter for one of the drives. Now would Gen 4 be better or can I get away with Gen3? Also, should I go with 2.5 SSD instead?
  8. Thanks, What is the eta on that? I only ask because my SATA ports on my MB is starting to fail.
  9. So dont get Intel? Go AMD? And I can use my old ram?
  10. Hi All, I currently have a i7 6700 Skylake but the mainboard SATA ports are starting to stuff up (Every time I restart/boot, I loose a drive. Have to reboot) Now this has got me thinking to buy/upgrade to another computer. I want to build a PCVR system and also a PC Game/Home Office PC. I heard from Gamer's Nexus in one of his video's that a i7 9700K is the best for pure gaming, so I have already got in my old rig a 650W platinum PSU, G-Skill SK Hynix F4-3000C15-8GTZR x 4 (32GB) Ram and a Gigabyte GeForce RTX2070 Super Gaming OC 8GB. I will buy a 2080ti for the PCVR rig and keep the RTX2070S for my PC rig, but should I go down the road of buying a i7 and a motherboard to "upgrade" my PC to a PCVR or should I just get a AMD? Can I use my current ram in a AMD build (I heard that 3000Mhz Ram doesnt work in AMD) Also what is a decent PC to get for PC Games? With PCVR I have a Oculus Quest and I like to cable attach the Quest to the PC in the loungeroom. I have Steam VR Games, Oculus Games and a Subscription to Valve. With PC, I like playing FPS, Racing, Starcraft etc. Can you knowledgeable folk here in Linus World please guide me in what would be 2 good machines for the next 3 to 5 years at least (so my wife doesnt kill me) Thanks
  11. I have 32GB of F4-3000C16-8GTZR currently, wondering if this will work in a AMD x570 mb with a 3700x or do I need to buy new RAM? What would be good RAM is this ram won't work?
  12. Also, PWM fans or normal fans for the RADs?
  13. I was thinking because I am using a AIO GFX also with a CPU AIO that is doesnt matter if I put it at the front or the top.
  14. Hi Guys, Im getting: Corsair Hydro Series H90 140mm Liquid CPU Cooler Corsair Carbide Quiet 400Q Compact Mid-Tower Case Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W Power Supply reusing the parts from my old Comp Maximus VIII Hero MB Intel Core i7 6700 16gb Ram. With a MSI Corsair GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hydro GFX Liquid Cooled 11GB or MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X 11GB Hybrid Now, I was thinking of putting the radiators at the front in a pull configuration with the fans exhausting the hot air out the back. What is the best placement or the radiators? Also, why?
  15. Do they have 3 pin fans or 4 pin fans, I only ask because I dont want LED's.
  16. Hi, Can I please ask which one is better and I wish Linus did a comparison on both.
