  1. From what I've seen it's the faster transfer speed on the pro as the cable provided is only usb 2 speed and the only other cable apple sell is a $100 thunderbolt cable.
  2. Thought I would post in here after Linus comment on the wan show. He mentioned that after doing some research he thinks it’s because the A16 bionic doesn’t support faster than usb 2 speeds but once again research seems to be lacking the latest iPad mini (6th gen) uses the A15 Bionic and has usb type C at usb3 gen 1 speeds (5GB/s) so they could have done that on the iPhone 15 but decided to. Another note is about making two different models they already do a USA only model as they only do eSIM in the US, but physical sim outside of Europe, granted it’s not as big as a different port.
  3. Thanks guys for your help, it seems to be working now without me changing anything, under 40 degrees at idle and max 65 when running cinebench r20

  11. Hey guys, Just got a 3950x and no matter what I seem to do it the temperature is always really high. The idle temps are between 60 to 70 degrees with nothing but Ryzen master. I've tried to lower the voltage but that doesn't seem to affect it. When I run cinebench r20 it pegs it at 95 degrees and throttles down to 1.8ghz giving me a cpu score of 4700. I upgraded from a 1700x and never had an issue with it before Specs: Ryzen 9 3950x Corsair h110i gt Asus crosshair vi hero -x370 Bios :7901x64 Any idea of a fix or is it just a dead CPU!! Thanks in advance UPDATE: without me changing anything I turned it on today and the idle temps are bellow 40 degrees and max out at 65 degrees in cinebench r20 giving me a score of 7300 at 4.1Ghz. No idea what has happened
