  1. I have a Corsair k70 Cherry MX Red that I've been using for 6 years. Recently, the Letter & number keys, including the numpad, stop working all of a sudden for a while, then start working again, seemingly at random times. Every other button works on the keyboard, including when I do stuff like ctrl + C. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the drivers, messing with the keyboard settings like sticky keys, filter keys, & the delays, scannow, dism, and other keyboards (which end up doing the same thing so it's not the keyboard's problem). Nothing works except rebooting the whole PC, but that's annoying to have to do every time this happens. What is happening and how can I fix it? My Specs: Windows 10 Pro i7-6850k Strix X99 Mobo 64gb RAM GTX 1080ti 850watt PSU Edit: I noticed that If I click on certain search bars on webpages, it starts working on those but not on the address bar of the browser in windows. If I click & type in the search bar of this site then click back to windows or something else it starts working again. Very weird stuff.
  2. I have and that hasn't helped me figure out the problem
  3. Hello all, I recently just upgraded my boot drive to a 1tb M.2 NVMe and ever since then, whether it's coincidence or not, it freezes for a second and immediately restarts at seemingly randomly times. I could be doing something as simple as watching a YouTube video. Nothing I'm doing seems to cause it and I can't find a reason in the event viewer. I've tried resetting windows twice, that didn't work. Can anyone tell me what's going on, or at least tell me how I can find out? Specs: - i7 6850k OCed at 41GHz - GTX 1080 ti - 64gb RAM - ASUS Strix x99 mobo - Samsung 1tb M.2 NVMe Boot Drive - 2x 3tb HDDs for games & data - 750watt PSU 80+ Gold - CyberPower 900watt UPS If you need more info, let me know. Thanks
  4. Yeah, that's what I was worried about. I suppose I'll just live with it, Thanks!
  5. Hello all, So I was just given an HP Pro 610 G1 and my immediate reaction is to upgrade it to Windows 10. My first question is, is it even worth it? By that I mean, Is there going to be enough built-in space & will it run ok? If the answer to that is yes, then my second question is can I upgrade it without having to buy a whole nother copy of Windows 10?
  6. Alright yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Thanks guys.
  7. I should add that they added a 1tb hdd to it.
  8. I'm buying this laptop from someone for $550, do you guys think that's a good deal? It's in great shape still. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015PYYDMQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1515458714&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Dell+15.6+960m+laptop&dpPl=1&dpID=41BrD2bCAeL&ref=plSrch
  9. Ok so I'm kind of a huge moron. I was looking at my power % and thinking that it was the GPU usage %.... But what tripped me was the fact that, with nothing else open, my GPU Clock seems to be stuck on 1569mhz and isn't dropping.
  10. It's still happening. I don't think it's csrss because process explorer says that it's using very little of the GPU, but I'm not sure what else could be doing it that process explorer isn't showing. I also just tried booting into safe mode, not sure what that accomplished since I can't open MSI Afterburner to see how much of my GPU is being used.
  11. I rebooted my PC 3 times since finding this out, it still does it. I have not tried to see if it still happens in safe mode. What does that mean if it does or doesn't while is safe mode?
  12. Just as the title says, something is using a constant 35-36% of my GPU and I can't seem to stop it. Process Explorer says that csrss is using to most of the GPU when I have nothing else open, so I assume it's that, but I am uncertain. I've tried scan for viruses and malware with various apps, but nothing I do stops this. Help, please.
  13. I only did that, because I was trying to decide which one to get, 32gb or 64bg. I'm sticking with 64gb.
