  1. Hello Everyone! TLDR; No display when 1080ti inserted since installing Kraken x62 CPU Cooler, iGPU won't work either but 1050ti runs fine. I've been troubleshooting this issue for about a week now, since installing my Kraken x62 CPU Cooler (replacing a Cryorig H7) my monitor won't display anything from the 1080ti (in any ports). Substituting that card for my old 1050ti however has the system running fine, which is what I am currently using but I would love to be able to use my better GPU. I only got the 1080ti about a month and a half ago and I had it running on "Lightning Mode" OC thanks to MSI gaming apps. Notes: *System turns on including all RGB and it definitely gets to desktop because Razer Synapse loads up my profiles *No BIOS appears when the 1080ti is in/and also when no GPU is inserted **may be an issue with iGPU idk** *I haven't been able to get the iGPU to function either (with/without any/either GPU inserted), same black screen appears when I do try it but this is probably due to incorrect BIOS settings (I'm no expert). Please be aware I have NOT tried setting the iGPU as the main display (with 1080ti inserted) because if it doesn't work I would have to reset the BIOS meaning that my SSD won't boot into windows without it being updated again (as NVME m.2 isn't by default recognised). I HAVE however of course tried setting the iGPU to auto and had no luck with it anyway. *1080ti is currently un-tested in another PC yet due to the fact it needs a 750watt PSU (3x 8pin PCIE) and the only friend with a "close enough" PSU (650watt Gold 80+) hasn't been available yet Please note: I had ZERO issues with the card at all until the moment the cooler was installed. I've tried just about everything I can think of i.e. re-seating the GPU, checking cables, swapping cables, using different display ports, using different PCIE lanes, uninstalling/re-installing drivers (including trying old ones), the Cooler runs fine and the RAM etc is seated properly, my PSU can in theory handle the load, and I've been up on a lot of late nights on these online forums just to find ideas on how to fix this. Things I haven't tried yet/am reluctant to try: Swapping my old cooler back in yet because I liked the pre-applied thermal paste job on the Kraken and I'd rather not resort to fan cooling my CPU again with hot weather coming up (I liked my 5GHz OC I had) (I will swap coolers if I really have to but the kraken is the only AIO on the market I like the looks of and if I can't fix the PC myself I will take it to a computer repair store (hopefully this week) to see if they can fix whatever issue is happening) Any help/suggestions is GREATLY appreciated. Thank-you for taking the time to read this P.S. I put the TLDR; up the top for lazy people like myself who hate scrolling. 2. Hi there, I have your exact issue after switching my Cryorig H7 for an NZXT Kraken x62. My 1080ti will not display anything since installing the new cooler and the CAM software seems to not load up *but only when the 1080ti is in*. I have since substituted the GPU for my old 1050ti with success but was wondering if you found any solutions? Cheers!
  3. Hi there sorry to bother you, did you find a solution? I think I'm stuck in the same boat haha except it happened for me after installing a new CPU cooler. I'm scratchin around for ideas at this point with what to try next to fix it
  4. Wait this thing has integrated graphics *mind blown GIF* I actually had no idea this particular chip supported it, I will try your suggestion right away ty!
  5. My motherboard doesn't have any on-board graphics unfortunately, which is how I ended up grabbing an old GPU to see if it was a dead PCIE port/GPU (I was desperate to find a way for my PC to display so I could watch movies tonight :D) I do think my GPU is functional, as the fans sounded like they were at their usual noise lvl which I had manually set. It's confusing to say the least, that a CPU cooler change could somehow cause a lack of display (especially after double checking cables/reseating parts).
  6. Hi Everyone! Today I installed a new CPU cooler, an NZXT Kraken x62 replacing my Cryorig H7. The PC successfully turned on however my GPU (MSI Lightning Z 1080ti) which I have owned for about a month won't output anything to my monitor since installing the new hardware (not even the BIOS/startup screen appears yet the PC is definitely loading up fine -Synapse seems to load my profiles for my peripherals on startup). I have my PC working currently with my previous GPU (Galax 1050ti) so the PCIE port is definitely still functional and the new CPU Cooler seems to be doing its job. Since substituting the GPU temporarily I have noticed occasional stuttering in game (dropping from 250 down to 7fps and freezing at times for a moment) despite only 10-30% CPU usage and 50% GPU usage -but this may be due to the fact my drivers are still on the 1080ti ones and NVIDIA Shadowplay was on. I have since taken the opportunity to install CAM software for the CPU Cooler (fixing a good portion of stuttering/low fps) but was wondering if my Corsair RM750x was being overwhelmed by the power draw of my beefy Lightning Z which requires 3x 8pin plus the power needed by the Kraken x62? (Note: CPU is OC'd at 5GHz, Core i7 7700k) PC Partpicker displayed no compatibility issues before purchasing the cooler and I'm under the impression that my PSU should have been *just* enough for normal usage? I plan to try inserting the GPU again tomorrow to see if anything has changed after retrieving drivers for the cooler. As seen in the pic, the GPU does turn on fine (in appearance). P.S. sorry for the RGB, too lazy to setup yet with so many apps to sort out! [Note: If it matters, my BIOS is up-to-date last checked a couple weeks ago] https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/Vmf8D8
