FWIW I burned in the HUD from Halo 3 on my LCD TV circa 2007 after playing about 60 hours in a week. I imagine it would be a problem for something like the taskbar, being in the same place all the time with the same icons pinned to it in the same places. Just because it wasn't a problem for you doesn't mean it wasn't a problem.

Pretty cool, but fahrenheit? Really? Even us Americans don't measure hardware temps in fahrenheit. Also the benchmark says work in progress and appears to be way off.

Looks really nice, but it could have been smaller. Replace the 200mm front fan with 1 or 2 140mm and use an SFX PSU mount instead of ATX. Then it could be a couple cm shorter and narrower. I want to see more ITX cases with SFX power supplies. They're a lot smaller, which is important in an ITX case. They provide up too 600 watts and you won't be able to use more than that in an ITX case anyway unless you get a dual chip GPU. 450 watts is more than enough for most people. The only downside is that people would have to buy a new PSU if they want to use the case. Also there's not a big selection of SFX PSUs but Silverstone has good quality ones for reasonable prices so that's not a big deal. Both of these problems would be solved if they become more popular. I hope they become the new standard someday.

LOL no I know about that. I haven't seen 8GB from a brand like Crucial for less than ~$65 in a long time though but I suppose I haven't been paying as much attention for the last month or two.

I hope they've learned a lot since they ported XCOM to Linux because that was an AWFUL port. Windows - max settings ~60 fps. Linux - minimum settings ~20 fps. That's impressively bad.

Shadow of Mordor requires 3GB for high texture settings IIRC. If I'm playing something like modded Skyrim I can install a ton of texture packs. This will use more VRAM, but AFAIK it won't put much more strain on the processor. Sure, this may not apply to a whole lot of games at the moment but in a couple years, who knows? The price is the one thing I'm really concerned about. I guess I'll wait and see.

Everyone is saying that a 128 bit bus can't handle 4GB. The Titan X is 12GB and Anandtech is speculating that it will have a 384 bit bus which Linus said is "a very good bet" on the WAN show. If I'm understanding how this works, thats equivalent to 4GB with 128 bit. That means it must work then, right? It may not have been enough in the past but I'm under the impression that it's very dependant on the chip architecture.

Yes, you can upgrade, but the parts that it comes with may need to be replaced depending on how you want to upgrade. See my previous post.
