  1. I guess I was asking if anyone had seen a per supply turn on and off rapidly while not being plugged in and not jumped. I ended up giving it a couple hours and it finally started acting normal again
  2. An ssd will improve load times but that's it. It won't impact fps at all. Saying that overclocking the 7700k will help the 8700k boosts a bit higher than the 7700k
  3. I had a pretty bad leak in my new it's build I recently did. So I decided to go back to soft tubing. Today I got all my runs finished, filled my loop let it run for a while, and then I decided to start it up. I pulled off my psu jumper and to my surprise the system immediately turned on by itself and then all the sudden started turning on and off rapidly.so I disconnected by extension thinking maybe that was the cause, but it still did it. It's entirely possible it got wet when the leak happened but it sat for two weeks so I could be sure everything was dry. I'm not sure what to do about it. I have never seen anything like this and couldn't find anything on the internet. Thanks and sorry for the wall of text psu is a corsair sf600 btw
  4. Unfortunately I already told them it was my fault and even offered to pay for the repair of that was on the tables
  5. Ok I guess I'll give it a shot if they change their mind about the rma. since it was on the power delivery I wasn't sure if it would cause stability issues then again the same six have an identical ones on the other side.
  6. They did send me an email saying they don't cover physical damage but asked for a picture and then went ahead and approved the ram im going to give it a couple days and see what happens since I sent the picture this morning I don't want to waste another 40 bucks sending it to them for them to just send it back
  7. Can this be fixed? I have had nothing but trouble with my systems the last couple months I actually just got this board back from rma and I slipped before I got the first screw in mounting it to my case I don't think gigabyte will accept this since it was my fault
  8. Yeah I'm probably just going to up getting another 1080 ti of the price is right u really want to do a full custom water loop but the cheapest 1080 tis don't support water blocks. I might even consider amd vega.
  9. Yeah it's mainly going to be for 4k gaming/media and yeah I considered the new hares canyon nuc butI already have all the hardware plus I don't mind playing some games with a controller but I will get a decent wireless mouse and keyboard. This whole thing started because I wanted a vr setup that me and my niece could play on but it's turned into so much more
  10. I recently decided that it was time to build a PC I have been wanting to bike for a very long time, and build an htc/living room gaming rig here are the specs that I have so far. Phanteks evolv shift x. Corsair sf600 psu. Asus rig strix Z370-1 with an EK mono block. Intel i7 8700k. 16Gb, 2x8gb of corsair vengeance rgb. Eluktronics 500GB nvme m.2 ssd. 2.5" 2TB Seagate barracuda. A 280mm x 60mm phobya g-changer radiator. EK see A d5 rgb 100ml res with an alphacool eischpumpe vpp755. Some monsoon hardline fittings and 1/2" x 5/8" tubing. An 1151 delid tool with a bitspower aftermarket IHS and some thermal grizzly conductonaut for a wells. Only thing I haven't gotten is a gpu I was planning on picking up a used gtx 1080ti for $550 usd from my local online ads but it got sold fast I have found a few for 650-700 range but I'm not sure I want to buy another $700 gpu right at this moment I want to play games on my 4k tv and I was going someone would have some suggestions should I just wait for misfits to get off thier ass and launch something to replace my main rigs 1080 ti and put that in my htpc or should I maybe go with something else?
  11. asus gpu tweak works I prefer msi afterburner, I'm running a founders 1080ti. there is also evga precision.
  12. i finally put my living room to use i bought a hisense 55" 4k hdr tv, ps4 pro battlefront 2 edition, and a serta massage recliner. i have never owned a current gen console and i gotta admit i love the ps4 so far. i dont care for opera os on the hisense tv but its a good thing i have the ps4 hooked up to it and can use that instead of the build in smart apps.
  13. only other thing i can think of it maybe some wierd bios setting but i have worked with that board quite a bit and dont remember having to adjust anything when i was running 3 way 660tis
  14. thats really wierd i know this is dumb but i have done it myself but are u using an actual SLI bridge and not crossfire they look stupidly close and it can be easy to get them mixed up
