    I am new-ish to Overclocking and would like to get better at it to really get the most out of my system. I know most of the strategies to find the max clock speed but I can't figure out how to over volt my MSI gtx 1080TI gaming X. I have tried to use MSI afterburner but have had no sucess and don't know why. I haven't been able to push the card very far because of this. If anyone has any tips or can help with my over volting problem that would be great!!

    @matt0725 Ok I am not going to over volt first, even if I apply an overclock it wont let me boost voltage, I will mess around with it and see what happens.

    I am new-ish to overclocking and I am attempting to use MSI afterburner. From the couple videos I have watched, I understand to run a base test with something like valley benchmark and then slowly increase until a crash then slowly decrease. I have also changed all my setting including unlock voltage control but I am still unable to change the voltage. I don't know where I have gone wrong in this process, if you see something I have done wrong please help. Thanks for the help in advance!!

    Just Curious, do you guys think it would help if I swapped out my case fans from the corsair ml 120 sp fans to an af fan and in turn if that would help improve airflow through the case. (I would keep sp fans on my rad of course) Thanks in advance!

    I have two of the Asus VG248QE which are 144Hz, but whenever I go into the Nvidia control panel it only gives me the option to put them at 60Hz. I don't know if I am just missing something or what. I have a 1080 ti and an i7 7700k. Thanks in advance!

    Cause if the ram lights are on that means the mobo is still supplying power even though the lights are off
