  1. Welcome, I would assume that it would still be effective due to larger heat sink and more fan area but it just isn't practical at all. It would make the card ridiculously heavy and would block all of the other expansion slots.
  2. Turns out Windows decided it wanted to change the Multiple Displays setting to only my main Monitor...Only took like 3 hours ti figure that one out
  3. @Hiya! Wow I can't believe I forgot to format it...
  4. My brand new Samsung 850 evo 1tb SSD Doesn't show up in windows even though it shows in programs like corsair LINK and my mobo Bios. I have no clue as to why the drive doesn't show up.
  5. @Light-Yagami I Used DDU to uninstall all of my drivers and uninstalled Geforce Experience, I have both monitors plugged in and upon boot the right monitor was the only one working then after reinstalling drivers the left monitor is the only one working. I am also unable to get my monitor to refresh at 144Hz even though I have a DisplayPort Cable plugged in. thank you for you assistance so far.
  6. My computer doesn’t recognize both monitors in display settings and I have been using both monitors in this set up for close to 6 months. I haven’t changed any settings recently and I know that both cables work cause I have swapped them around. I managed to get them both working if I used something like a DVI cable on one of them but then I can’t get either monitor to 144Hz @Crunchy Dragon @firecrow797 @Light-Yagami Thanks for the help so far.
  7. @Crunchy DragonI will try updating the driver, I am just not at all close to an Ethernet port
  8. @firecrow797 my computer won’t recognize both, but when I boot up both monitors will turn on but only one will stay awake.
  9. I have an MSI gtx 1080 ti Gaming X, as of about 30 minutes ago bit of my monitors plugged into DisplayPort were working fine then I turnned on my computer and only one monitor turned on the other woke up, said there was no signal, and went back to sleep. I have tried both DisplayPorts and they both work but won’t work at the same time. I have tried reseating my card and switching cables but only one monitor will work at a given time. I have no clue why this is happening and the only solution I can come up with is that it’s my GPU. If someone knows how to fix this please let me know.
  10. I would say personal preference, I like soft.
  11. @CookieMaster Awesome Thanks for the great Feedback
  12. @CookieMaster @McHox This is what I managed to boost my card up to without touching Voltage Control Clock speed ran at 2000 MHz with a Memory speed of 6156 in 3D Mark Time Spy.
  13. @CookieMasterOk thanks, I am going to run a benckmark and mess with some settings really quick
  14. @McHoxThanks about the Voltage Control, I will get the load clock
  15. I have nothing to compare this to so I was hoping if someone could give me a reference point and tell me if this is a good overclock or not I have an msi GTX 1080ti Gaming X I am unable to figure out how to boost voltage, I have voltage control checked in afterburner but am still unable to adjust the Voltage I was Wondering what you guys recommended I try or if I should continue to mess clock speeds
  16. I have a msi GTX 1080ti Gaming X card and have started to get into overclocking it. I noticed that no matter what I offset my core clock to, after a period of time it always drops down to 1974 or 1984. I will go to 2000 or 2012 but will only stay like that for a few seconds. I don't know why it does this and was wondering if anyone had any input.
  17. @bob51zhang @Simon771 Thanks for the input, just wanted to make sure it was normal!!
  18. About a day ago, I noticed when ever my msi gaming x 1080 ti is under load it makes a high pitched noise. I don’t know if it has done this science I got it or if I am just now noticing it. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it or if someone knew how to fix it. Thanks in advance.
  19. We got it figured out, it was a recording program he had downloaded on his computer
  20. @Subduck Already is installed on the same drive
  21. Does anyone know of this issue and/or know how to fix it? I have a friend that bought the game and he has been able to play it twice.
  22. @sazrocks How would you Recommend I go about overclocking my card then?
