  1. might be dead , have you tried different driver versions to see if it boots fine with any of them and doesnt artifact under load?
  2. do you already have the green drive? if not replacing it and the WD black for a Firecuda would be a better option since youd be getting the same speed as the black and same storage as both drives but at a lower individual cost https://pcpartpicker.com/product/NpBrxr/seagate-firecuda-2tb-35-7200rpm-hybrid-internal-hard-drive-st2000dx002
  3. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Z8k8LD upgraded it to a 1070ti and a better psu for the build, even after a heavy OC you dont need a full 650W
  4. ryzen isnt really great for much over 100fps, even a sidegrade to a 7700k would net you another 20fps
  5. id recommend Ensourced.net over cablemod, cablemods QC is a little inconsistent for my tastes
  6. try taking out the card and plugging straight into the mobo, if that works try Display Driver Uninstaller, pop the card back in and then reinstall drivers
  7. id say its not a bad opportunity for an upgrade, the i3 8350k is basically an i5 7600K with more cache that would be a good jump the bigger question is what made you want to mix a Maxwell with an old Bonaire card?
  8. M50X's in general are way overhyped and sound worse than the M40X's, the DT990's are great for FPS games but id actually say the DT770's are better because the bass response accentuates footsteps and explosions a bit better than the 990's
  9. do you have a good amp? without one those 250ohm cans will sound really weak
  10. to be fair the XB271HU abmiprz has very good color vibrancy for a TN panel
  11. yeah more than likely, but yeah the 1070ti is a better buy
  12. problem with that is a single seller doesnt suddenly change market value
  13. are you sure its input lag and not just you noticing the difference in refresh rates? i have a 240hz display that i use for gaming and 3d movie watching that makes my 60hz ultrawide feel sluggish as hell
  14. user bench isnt really a good reference since the 1070ti should only be 5% less than 1080 performance, and even outperform a stock 1080 when overclocked, a heavily overclocked 1070 will never touch a reference 1070ti, but an average OC 1070ti>stock 1080 since it just has %5% less shaders
  15. its the law of diminishing returns bud, you pay more for less improvement from the lower tier, this applies to pretty much everything in life, but that isnt really a viable point against PCMR since price is only what you are willing to pay and not a set in stone number that must be had
  16. a custom 1070 is within $50 of the 1070ti, some like the Gigabyte 1070ti gaming are the same price as the evga 1070 ftw so there no real reason to go for the 1070 when the 1070ti will greatly outperform it
  17. AIO's aren't really ultrasilent, if you wanted silence a noctua dual tower cooler would not only perform as well but it's be much quieter
  18. your cpu is fine although the H100i is just a waste of money on a locked processor, your gpu is your bottleneck since its between gtx1050ti to 1060 performance
  19. the strix has fins, theyre just much larger than the prime
  20. theres no reason to get the prime to save $13 when its the inferior board
  21. only thing youd really need if you wanted to improve it aesthetically are sleeved cable extensions although good ones can be somewhat expensive, black+blue with one or two white cables would work well with that case and cooler for wifi yes you will need a wifi card, i use the Netgear Nighthawk A7000 ac1900 adapter and i absolutely love it
