well guys we proceed, this is the turn of the crankcase / turbine of the bike it will be a grill and under it I will put a 200 mm RGB fan
but how to make it happen? I invent something ...

fixed with adhesive for temporary acrylic after I will apply a more powerful one to consolidate everything.

to make a perfect hole I build a tool, dremel has been supplying it for years I don't want to spend 30 euros for a piece of iron and plastic.
so I decide to find it myself, I take advantage of the supplied cutter support.
This bar is usable on any mini tool.

    here the project.

that's where I'll make the hole.

thanks to coolermaster for providing me with this magnificent rgb coolermaster fan with awkward dimensions .. well 200 mm
a big beast ... that's where it will go.

    here a brief unboxing ...

    technical positioning tests

    let's go ...

here it is at work .. the bar behaves well is very smooth you have to proceed very slowly
as the pieces of acrylic tend to melt with the heat blocking the tip.
clean from the chips generated every now and then ..

use the 3d printer because I don't have it.
but as usual I will try to do something beautiful and above all that costs little ...

"Maplins, because at least we're not Currys" is the saying I shall now live by dearly.

So I recently walked into a Maplin's store and as normal walked down the 'Computer components" aisle glaring into Corsair Carbides and admiring the hilarious prices of DDR2 RAM. But then I looked at the prices of a an ASUS Strix 1080 and my eyes kind of just fell out, rolled all the way to Currys and back again, pretty normal.

    Maplins price: £759.99.

Currys PC World price, as with Scan UK (Note, they are the exact same, brand new cards, with no obviously advertised warranty bonus from either retailer): £621.99

Congratulations Currys! You have for once officially selling a product for a 'reasonable' price!

Maplin's also kind of just played themselves big times suppose since losing to Currys is like losing to your 94 year old grandfather in a 50m walking race... LEL

If you want more funny prices I have more should you so desire to hear of them... XXD

    So im building a hackintosh.

Here's the current list of hardware I'm hoping to use and keep my build around £600 / $775

Case - already bought - £20 inc. vat

1TB HD - Salvaged from my iMac FREE!

Gigabyte Intel GA-H270-HD3 LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard - £91.98 inc. vat

Intel Core i3 6100 3.7GHz - £108.62 inc. vat - Choose this as it has the processing power i need and Im not looking to over clock, plus I can't justify the price of an i5

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 4GB - £122.97 inc. vat

    Corsair CX Series CX450M 450W - £48.36 inc. vat

    Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 X 4GB) DDR4 - £63.98 inc. vat

    Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5inch SSD - £89.93 inc. vat

Been using tonymacx86.com as guide and sourcing parts from ebuyer.com
thanks for any help in advance.?

instead of a 6600 but maybe a older i7 4790 or a 3770 they will perform a lot better and will be cheaper as well as be better supported by apple due to apple using the same cpus in there 2014 and 2015 macs .

    - you don't need Z170 for a locked CPU
    - get the 6500 instead, it's cheaper and like 200Mhz slower
    - get a 1050 or 1050Ti instead and use the Nvidia beta drivers
    - good
    - good
    - good
    - bad PSU, get a Corsair CXM instead

Tissues are in. Let's do it!

    Going with Mayhems Pastel Orange.

Been leak testing for a while here, and everything seems perfect! Air bubbles are slowly receding, and it's nice and quiet. The only "leak" I had, was when I got a bit to overeager with the filling, and some fluid came out the fill port, ran down the side of the reservoir, and dripped onto the power connectors for the Titan.

All was good, though. No biggie.

Final state of cable management. Could be neater, but I just needed it to be flat, so the covers would fit over them...

Voila! Really love the way these came out. It might seem silly spending so much time and effort on something you won't really see that often, but yeah.

But this is more or less it! Here it stands in its, potentially, final form, ready to crush some games! Thanks for sticking around, hope you enjoyed the build and the result, I certainly do.

I'll shoot a few more glamour shots in a bit.
