Trust me on this i have researched a lot..and 1060 is the best option for you cause it is perfect for 1080p with the highest setting and will give you 60 fps without a problem if you want to go lower on money go for 1050ti and go to youtube and search the game you with the grapic so you can see the perfomance like gtx 1050 GTA 5

the best the perfect i am telling you go for the GTX 1060 3gb(you can go for 6 gb if you have money but i will not recommend 6 gb) it is 70% faster than gtx 1050

short answer no you should go for the GPU but i want to know why do you need this upgrade(gaming or for work) so i can give you better insight
