  1. Yep autorun.inf started to work for couple of minutes and the it reverted back to the generic icon. Hope there will be a hot fix soon
  2. Hi Guys, As this is the norm Windows 10 had another stupid bug All USB Storage Devices seems to get categorized as Unspecified and change to a generic icon To Fix this issue I followed the following guide on Windows 10 (1909 - 18363.476) and on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (1809 - 17763.86) and was able to fix the issue All credit goes to https://www.reddit.com/user/redredredredddd/ I followed the following instructions - C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceMetadataCache\dmrccache Then I looked for the corresponding folder (the same problem as OP's), be careful not to touch the other folders that are owned by perfectly-working devices. PS: Do not reboot Windows until after the last step. First, I searched for Change device installation settings from the start menu, change the setting to No. It can also be accessed by right-clicking This PC --> click Properties --> Advanced system settings --> Hardware tab. Second, unplug all USB storage devices. Then, I went to the Device Manager --> enabled Show hidden devices. Uninstall the problematic devices under Disk drives and Portable Devices. DO NOT MESS WITH THE INTERNAL DRIVES. Uninstall only the UNAVAILABLE DEVICES (with washed-out icon) under Storage volume shadow copies and Storage volumes. These devices are the volumes that were from the external storage devices. Uninstall only the USB Mass Storage Device under Universal Serial Bus controllers. Then, I went to the directory above and then checked which folder had the incorrect .ico for USB drives, and then checked the .xml file with it to see if it matches the USB drive's information from the old control panel --> Devices and Printers page. In my case, the device was categorized as unspecified in both the Devices and Printers page and the .xml file. Lastly - Delete the folder once you have verified that it really is the one that causes problems with the USB drive icons. You may now reboot Windows after this step. As much as I'd like to keep the setting enabled in Change device installation settings, I have concluded that this may have caused the problem last November 7th (based on the file creation date from the directory). Also, I think it's possible to skip all the steps above and just change the setting in Change device installation settings to NO though I haven't tried yet. Please read the reddit post for more information. Again all credit to redredredredddd Hope this will help someone ?
  3. Hi Guys I was looking for a way to manage save games on multiple and found this project and it works great. https://github.com/MikeMaximus/gbm Only issue is the game list is bit outdated and with a large steam library adding each game with all the settings for backing up save files is a tedious task. If anyone else is using this is there a updated game list? Thanks in Advance ?
  4. Hy Guys, I was just re-downloading all my mods and get to thinking that I have no way to keep track of the mod updates easily. So is there a tool or anything to keep track of mods in moddb? and if not what are you guys using to keep track of the mod updates. Thanks

  8. Hi Guys, I am building an htpc server using Ubuntu server and running docker on top of it. I have been using LinuxServer.io (https://www.linuxserver.io/) containers as its easy to populate it. They have containers for Deluge and Transmission but I would like to have a BitTorrent as I have previously used it and have a good experience in editing the config and letting it do what I want. Is there a solid qbittorent container ? because all I found are not quite stable or had many update issues. Thanks
  9. Hi Guys, I was just downloading the Star Wars Armada 3 and Sins of Galactic Empire mods for Sins of Solar Empire and I would like to know is there a program or script or anything to handle multiple mod downloads and manage them (Ex: Update the Mods Automatically) ? Thnx in Advance
  10. I got a bit banged up Crossover Monitor for less than $100 and it was not only as a picture frame but also connecting to some IOT things around the home and use it as a dashboad (http://freeboard.io/) and an information center I tried it with a pie and it was not working well when i tried some looping videos it chocked. Still looking for a good soluting but thinking of getting a 4k capable android box and adding it to this
  11. Hi Guys I was thinking of building a digital picture frame like (Electric Objects - http://shop.electricobjects.com/). I was fascinated by the idea of making something like in Harry Potter (using GIFs and VIdeo Files) with additional features like Calendar, Notifications, Time etc.. using a Linux system with a web service to manage all the functionality. This is no commercial endeavor of any kind just a geek trying to do something cool I am thinking of getting a Korean Monitor (Crossover-COCO402UT) and Pairing it with a Raspberry Pi 3 and building a Wood Frame to hold both My Main Issue is will Raspberry Pi 3 be able to run a 4K Monitor at a decent frame rate (Min 24 / Great if 30) with H.265 And if it can't is there any alternatives? Thanks in Advance
