  1. UPDATE: Got to 4th place with a score of 9328! only 294 points to go to get that top spot for my CPU/GPU Combo! Still haven't done any additional mods.
  2. Not sure as I am not at home ATM. I will get back to you tonight when I can sit down in front of my computer. EDIT** Just looked at some pictures of the UEFI BIOS to see if I could remember and couldn't find CPU IO voltage. Do you mean CPUSOC voltage? If so, I have that set to 1.2
  3. I am going to check if I can get better scores with lower ambient temps, but really not sure at the moment if that is the limiting factor or not. With the memory running at DOCP settings of 16-18-18-38, and even increasing voltage to upwards above 1.5v, I still couldn't get anything to boot above 3200MHz. I have a Dominator Platinum 32 GB CL15 Kit that is rated at 3000 that I might try, but I don't know if I am missing something on the kit I am currently using.
  4. So I have been watching the TechTuber Overclocking Extravaganza with Jay, Steve, Paul, and now Der8auer, and it has made me want to try and hit the top spot on Time Spy Extreme for my CPU/GPU combo. I am currently running a Threadripper 1950x with a 2 way 1080Ti SLI setup on a custom loop. I am pretty comfortable that my CPU won't go any further. Stable at 4.05GHz with 1.425v (Can get 4.1 with 1.475v, but doesn't always complete benchmarks). RAM is 3200MHz with timings tightened to 14-14-14-34. Won't boot with timings lower or speed faster. I am sure I have room for improvement for my RAM because a lot of it is left on Auto in BIOS but I just don't understand it. The GPUs are Founders Editions with Strix OC BIOS flashed on to them, but no physical mods have been done. Current OC Settings: +50 on GPU Core, +275 Memory, Core Voltage % slider maxed. Cant adjust Power or temp limit. Have the setting unlocked in afterburner but not sure if it even comes up because it is the Strix OC bios which doesn't have limits (if I am not mistaken...) In Time Spy Extreme, the tests break down as follows: Graphics Test 1: Clock jumps up to 2037 MHz, then about half way drops to 2025. Temps stay <58C. Graphics Test 2: Clock sometimes stays 2025MHz, but usually will drop to 2012. Temps stay <62C. CPU Test: This is a slow one... But my results are around the same as everyone else in the top 10 for this leaderboard so not too concerned here. My best result is 9199 which lands me at 14th for people who have my same CPU/GPU combo. With the actual top score at 9622, How can I go further? Do I need to do a shunt mod? Custom power curve? Say "F*** it!" and give up? I was thinking about doing the Air conditioner thing that Jay did to help drop temps, but I am wondering if there is any other way to get beyond the limits I am currently experiencing.
  5. Go with XSPC ECX Ultra Concentrate UV green. Looks great.
  6. A little rehab never hurt anyone. You'll be fine. Lol This is FANtastic (only if you don't use the FAN).
  7. It's just really fun to paint OK! I CAN STOP WHEN I WANT TO!
  8. Yeah a lot of people say that but 115+ dF is still very miserable.
  9. Yeah I live in Arizona so humidity isn't really a big deal here. Except for the week that I was painting was during monsoon season so we were in our time of 70%+ RH...
  10. Perks of owning your own house, Tell your wife to park outside for a week because you have stuff to paint! Lol Yeah I struggle with patience issues so I probably didn't put enough coats on it.
  11. Yeah I did some sanding and primer work but just no luck. I permanently stained the floor in my garage. Lol
  12. Nice work on the paint! I should have had you paint my case because I did a terrible job. Lol. Yeah it took me over a month and a half to get my system up and running from the day when I had all the parts because I am so busy. Training for an Ironman this year so spending a lot of time "outside" (whatever that is). Haha.
