  1. Yes exactly this! I would've preferred a cable of some sort, but this looks like its as close as I'm going to get. Thank you!
  2. Hello, My Evolv X has a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector that my ASUS Z170-AR motherboard does not have. Does anyone know of an adapter like this except reversed? Where I can plug the Gen 2 connector into a standard USB 3 motherboard header. i know that the performance will be less than 3.1 speeds but i prefer this over an unused port. Thank you!
  3. You could try rebuilding the bootrec. https://neosmart.net/wiki/bootrec/#If_you_have_the_installation_disc-2
  4. I know they are different. That’s why I asked. I just wanted to know if it was worth it to upgrade.
  5. Title says it all. Do you think it would be better to stick with a GTX 1060 6GB, or sell it and get an RTX 2060? Thanks!
  6. Hmmm. I'll keep that in mind. My case has a hole in it specifically for draining. I haven't figured out exactly how to do it though.
  7. Exactly. I want a port because the case supports it and I guess I see no reason not to.
  8. I am mostly concerned about the correct metals and fitting/component/tubing size.
  9. But I think that I'll need the extra fittings for the fill and drain ports. Im going to go check how the pump connects to this rad and if I even need fittings for it. UPDATE: I don't need fittings for the pump so I can take 2 off.
  10. Hello, I am planning on water cooling my pc. At first I will only be cooling my 6700K but will eventually expand to a gpu water block. Do any of you see any issues with this loop or have any recommendations? Thank you! (The image has a rad on top, which would be 360mm instead of 420mm. I am still debating how to do this, as a 420 would have to go on the from. However I feel that aesthetically the 360 on top would look better, or possibly both a rad on top and front if it can look nice without tubing everywhere?) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MacBook1/saved/GbTkdC
  11. I'll look into it then for sure! Thanks for the input. I can let you know of my experiences.
  12. Does anyone have experience with these pumps? My loop for now will include a cpu block and an R220 res and a 420mm rad. Later will have a gpu block as well. I wanted to go with the DCC as it will mount into the res and i feel that this will look much cleaner in my build, but was curious if this is a good system. I don't want to change pumps once I get the gnu block. Can the DCC handle this? Thanks!
  13. Unfortunately not, but please let me know if you find one!
  14. I am not overclocking because I don't want to push my Cryorig C7. Ill overlock once I water cool.
  15. It was in the Evlolv X at Computex 2018. Im not sure if it is a reservoir but thats my guess.
  16. I don’t have any complaints with it! Has served me well. I’d be happy to answer any questions if you wanted more details.
  17. Hello, I have an ASUS Z170-AR motherboard and am thinking about buying 32GB of G.Skills Trident Z RGB. This memory is compatible with Aura Sync but my motherboard has no Aura Sync elements on it. Will I be able to control the lighting in these memory sticks? Thanks!
  18. This still isn’t the internal connector. Like the one from the front I/O.
  19. Hm. Ive never heard of that being a bottleneck. I suppose its possible. Having more drives would theoretically be better in terms of keeping your data safe if one of the drives fails. You will still have the data from the other 2 drives.
  20. This is kind of what I need, but the internal type of port, not the traditional USB-C type.
  21. I’ve had luck with issues like this by following this guide, but I’m not familiar with your particular issue. I don’t think it can hurt to try but just in case, do so at your own risk. https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-rebuild-the-bcd-in-windows-2624508 EDIT: Also I should add that my experience is only with SATA drives. Not NVME, or even any M.2 drives.
