Damn beat me to it. Yeah, maybe try implement more modular code to make it cleaner.

When you hover over anything, it calls safeForKing, which at the bottom (at the else from a check for when the tile is not a king) calls refreshsp, refreshsp then calls normaliseColor, which resets all the colors.

The code is quite a bit of a mess, so this was a tough one, I thank you for the challenge.

I would bet "assy" is short for assembly, so they might have just swapped out your entire screen from the hinges up, and that might be a very time efficient way to fix a laptop screen if it has a problem. C Cover, idk what that would be, but if you were more specific about what you've sent the laptop in for, I might have an idea...

They probably replaced the top piece where the trackpad is housed then.  Those usually come as one assembled piece when they're spare parts.

Thanks a lot. That makes sense.

LCD assy = screen assembly? which could mean fucking anything.

@mikat Ahh, that makes a lot more sense. There seems to be a bug with the tags. When I try to remove the tag I get the "All values must be shorter than 25 characters long." error.

@Ordinarily_Greater Floatplane gives you early access to videos published by the Linus Media Group. Plus, it's a nice way to support them for a relatively inexpensive cost.

Early access is the main feature at the moment, you get most content 1 week early (time sensitive videos excluded)

Read up on this, that's actually terrible. But it's Google, I doubt it would decrease their userbase. They're worth $495B, so even a multimillion-dollar lawsuit would be less than a slap on the wrist.

You don't have to contribute, it's your choice, and this thread kinda got derailed, if you have any other questions about gold contributor things, create a new topic
