  1. Is there a better monitor that is now on sale for the same price as the monitor you have been keeping an eye on?
  2. I am an IT personal at a high school. One of the teachers has a Computer Networking and Hardware class. We are looking for general recommendations for components. The students of the class will be selecting the parts and assembling the computer(s) ultimately, so parts lists are not necessarily the best. This will be a relatively low budget build, and I am more familiar with higher end components. The primary objective right now is to figure out what a reasonable budget is, and then get approval to spend the money. Approximate budget is probably $300-$500 USD. Assume this is only for core computer components, not peripherals or software. A graphics card is going to be considered "nice to have/luxury" in this case since the prices are so high these days. Thanks everyone.
  3. Yeah, I was looking into this and it seems like inventor doesn’t scale well to multiple cores. Additionally I was thinking a Quadro P4000, would hate to get it though only to have Nvidia refresh the Quadros shortly after.
  4. I’m looking for some advice for a build for the robotics team that I help mentor. The primary use is Autodesk Inventor to build the team’s robots, with the possibility of doing some animation and light content creation (Adobe CC). I have a general idea of a system but I want to know what other people think. Budget: $2000 USD Already have a monitor and peripherals, but will need an OS.
