I am looking to build a new system. I am a college student in the U.S. My income has changed so my budget is under $1000 dollars, but the lower the better. I am starting with some components too, so that should be a pretty easy price point but I am not sure which way I want to go Intel/AMD. I fell for the MSI GS30 Shadow with gaming dock a couple years back; I have since come to my senses.
I already have an ACER 4k 60Hz monitor and an MSI 980 Ti. I would like a system that handles 4k and VR well. I play all the games, over 800 in my Steam Library (humble brag). I do some streaming and video editing as well. I will need a copy of Windows. I'm definitely leaning toward Ryzen as I like to support the competition; I like Intel but wanna do my part.
What do you guys think?
