  1. Recently I've been wanting to sell some various old parts I have no use for, including a Tyan Thunder i7505 (S2665) motherboard. After a bit of searching to see how much this board was worth, I found out that people are charging an arm and a few legs for one (~$400 USD)! To me and a few friends I've asked, this is an old motherboard that probably shouldn't be worth this much due to its age. This motherboard from 2002 is old enough to have features like a floppy drive controller, IDE, and firewire. It is limited to 4GB of DDR memory. It lacks modern features such as SATA or PCIe. The BIOS revision I have can't even boot off of a flash drive. Why is this motherboard priced so high?
