Lets say the NVidia part still provides the majority of the heating energy. I currently use a RTX2080 together with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, that together with the Ryzen 3 3100 still is a lot less PPD and heat output than the 2080. The smaller ryzen that one day may become my home server also currently has an ancient ATI graphics card but mayyyyybe i can get a small NVidia for it, to stay true to my name.

Yay, i stayed at the same rank as before! I tested the mighty ryzen 3 3100 with some ram from my main system and it actually worked! I now ordered a ram ugrade for my main system, so i can harvest its current ram. When it arrives, i will test this system by letting it fold til the end of the Folding Month.

Got my 7900 XTX back from RMA last week and threw the other cards in to a spare machine to run for the rest of the event. Pushing for the top 100 😎

Me, I'm pleasantly surprised to be in the top 2/3...though sadly surprised that is only because so many people aren't actually folding that signed up.

That explosion at the power station in my city certainly cost me some ranks, but I am slowly catching back up with the Top100!
