  1. standalone switch, not in a keyboard. maybe not them, but I won't trust chinese tolerances over german ones
  2. The new Kalih, I'm pretty positive I've felt them in my local computer store. I like the feeling of Cherry quite a bit more.
  3. I've also felt them. They're not nearly as smooth as Cherry.
  4. You must be daft. Cherry is MUCH better than Kalih. I bought a new Razer keyboard and a new Corsair. The Razer switches SUCKED. Like, major balls. The only benefit was the better stabilizers.
  5. SteelSeries Rival 310. I have a Deathadder, and this mouse is so much better. More comfortable, MUCH better macros, better switches, amazing sensor, and great side grips. It's the best mouse I've felt. Every mouse has issues. The Razer has issues of double clicking, and incorrect switch balancing. I tried to find an issue with the SteelSeries, and even though it was hard, I found a tiny one. The left mouse button is a tad harder to click than the left, due to the mouse being right hand shaped. It's actually pretty similar if you click in the right places. Overall, this mouse gets a 9/10 from me. Just buy it. Amazing af
  6. I would still stay away from Kalih. In my experience, it's Cherry, but their stabilizers are meh.
  7. That's the best type of knowledge. Experience.
  8. Razer products from earlier than 2013 were good, my Deathadder 2013 is still bomb. But it appears as Razer has realized that any teenager will buy pretty lights over quality.
  9. Recently, I bought the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2. I was excited. Looked nice, felt good. But when I actually started playing - that was a different story. I'll keep this short for the sake of brevity, but I hope I get my point across. One switch was smooth, while the next was as rough as two course stones grinding against each other. Absolute SHIT switches. I can't believe how they put it in a keyboard. The yellow switches actually felt nice WHEN they worked as advertised, but most of them were scratchy with the exception of a few being smooth. OH, and if I pressed on the edge of some keys with spacers, it would click twice. As in, move, get stuck, and then sort of "snap" again. Also, the Razer LED logo with the three snakes didn't last for two days. It began forming many glitches and other scratches over it. So it was illuminating the logo, but also illuminating cracks that had formed near it. Oh, and the keyboard began ungluing itself near the middle. And did I mention that the wrist wrest was a pain to type on because it practically sat HIGHER than the keyboard itself? Fast forward to me buying a Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry Speed switches. I like linear switches, they feel smoother than tactile ones to me. The Cherry switches are 10x better. The keyboard is too, with the exception of it being too cramped for me to type on really comfortably with my giant, mallet hands. Software for Corsair is much more customization than Razer. And the board is much more solid. I felt the Logitech board, and even that didn't feel nearly as solid as this one. But Logitech is actually a good brand. PLEASE, stay away from Razer at all costs. Cherry switches are so much better in my experience. Anyone can regurgitate information and say, "Oh, Razer is shit!" from online posts.. But here, I have experienced it first hand. So ignore the pretty lights for a second. And think to yourself. "Do I really want a shitty keyboard that isn't built well with bad QC?" If you answer yes.. Then please, buy a Razer board. You will be thoroughly pleased. But me, on the other hand. I'd stick to the good stuff. Don't make my mistake. Go buy a Corsair, OR EVEN BETTER, a Ducky. I wish I could've bought that, but I prefer to buy peripherals at stores so I can return them.
  10. Photoshop is pretty single thread based so your best bet will an 8700k
  11. pretty sure it's that. Honesty, I love this keyboard. Only issue is the keys have a sort of metal i ringing sound if pushed super hard, but who really cares lol? I like how they feel, and that's what matters
  12. I like the Blackwidow yellow keys. Only reason of why I bought it. The cherry speed switches sound really mushy and slow to me. If my second Blackwidow has issues I'll get the Logitech. Thanks for the help
  13. I got it today, barely used it. Both require the same force, but one is a little raspy while the other isn't. I actually took the keycap off and the switch itself seems fine, apart from a tiny sound difference. If I do return this tomorrow, I'll get a new Blackwidow. If that's bad, what other keyboard should I opt for in the $150 range?
  14. The switch itself is fine, the yellow ones to be exact. But as we all know, the larger keys have metalic levers. With my left switch, the lever makes a small sound and isn't too smooth when going down. I can switch it for a new keyboard, but I'd like to know if this is normal. One shift key feels smoother than the other.
  15. Great reasoning.. He didn't capitalize a few words. Must mean he's retarded, right? Right?
