Unfortunately, when trying to put the power limit higher, my laptop froze... I genuinely don't think i'm able to improve my performance to any extent, it's locked down to sh*t. thanks for the help though :3

These are the only settings i have concerning graphics... PS: when i change any of the voltages, im able to change the mode from adaptive to static. But when i do so my laptop freezes instantly.

@BobVonBob i dont see such settings in XTU... i do see voltage and voltage offset but if i remember correctly; last time i changed those it instantly froze my laptop.

@thinwalrus i just checked the max TDP readings, and it capped at 5,1W. is there any way i could override the max TDP? (and would it even be safe?)

Hi all, Long story short; my GTX860M crashes windows 10 upon startup, so i disabled that in the bios. And am now limited to my intel HD4600. Only problem is, during browsing etc, it runs at its boost clock the entire time. 1200Mhz. But during any type of game or 3D program (i do 3D design in C4D, blender and fusion 360) it instantly downclocks itself to 400-500Mhz. I have no clue why this happens, i know i cant dedicate more ram to the igpu via bios (i can barely do anything in bios really). would anyone know how i can force the igpu to work as fast as it can in all programs? be it BAT files or whatever. intel i7 4710HQ @2,5Ghz 16GB DDR3 @1600Mhz 1TB evo860 ssd
