  1. My Galaxy S7 had terrible battery life since Oreo update, I had like 3-5% battery usage per hour with screen OFF and phone idle I found a fix I read somewhere that I should try to turn off LTE ( switch to "auto 2G/3G" in settings, even though I was on WiFi and mobile data weren't in use) so I tried and.. v'oila I have exceptionally good battery life now around 1% (max. 2%) of battery drain per hour, now my phone can last whole day easy ^^ and reception of the signal is better (I have all 4 lines of signal - when LTE was ON it was max 3 around my living area) So it seems like when phone really tries to get this good LTE signal it drains battery very fast, but when it doesn't have to - then everything is OK Maybe this will also help one of you maybe @LinusTech could also use this fix to.. fix his S9 battery life
  2. Well from sounds of it, it looks like the best what you can do right now, I checked my regedit and it's as you say - no Shell sub-key, just a value in Winlogon set to a explorer.exe
  3. Hello it might sound silly, but for some specific reason it's kind of important to my wife so... here it goes, we've created facebook place https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pałac-W-Kamienicy/1907674239290408 and while typing the name I made a mistake and instead of lowercase w I typed uppercase W in the middle of the name Unfortunately I cant change it now, I can only suggest and edit... and facebook shows that my changes are pending. Probably if correct anmount of people will suggest same change as I did, then FB will change the name so I'd like to ask you guys for help, if you can please suggest an edit on that link, and instead of "Pałac W Kamienicy" please type in "Pałac w Kamienicy" so it looks right Thank you in advance and once again sorry for silly post PS it's a Polish name so you might not be able to use ł then just edit the w letter
  4. probably because each manufacturer can put pins in a different spot (like GND pin on the other side etc.) If you have many pins, you can probably plug them in whatever order you like, just like MOBO manual says you should I suppose if someone builds his/her own pc, then he or she has minimum required knowledge to know how to read manual and connect those pins When I was builidng my rig, I had no problem with understanding how to connect them - it was very clearly written and shown in the images With that said - if manufacturers would keep one common standard of placing pins always in the same order, then having one big plugs would be amazing
  5. gr8 thanks for info, and yeah - factory reset is probrably best permanent solution J
  6. probrably coil whine, it can sound like buzzing, or in my expirience even like ticking This was my case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyP-4Fq4NKA Only solution - warranty repair
  7. I would say that in theory You can put old HDD to PC, use for example Easytodo backup app and clone Windows to another disk then take out HDD and change serial key in system settings
  8. yeah I would tought the same, gpu's should not burn out by themselfs
  9. well before factory reset I'd try to type ipconfig /flushdns in cmd
  10. Click Ctrl + R in windows Type: control Click Enter In Control Panel click Power Options and "Advanced settings" (or somtehing like this) and then search for USB settings and under this "selective" it should be turned off
  11. Check selective usb turn off in power options (sorry, non native English speaker here)
