  1. I have a gif which is 90 frames. I want to delete the last 10 frames to make it 80 frames. dont want to change anything else. dont want to reencode. want to keep the original 80 frames. want to keep the fps same. is there a software to delete the last 10 frames. online tools dont work as the gif is too big in size. want to trim by frames, not by time.
  2. so I can run exe files and install programs from stand alone installation files?
  3. if it doesnt allow installing apps from outside app stores it will be DOA
  4. can you install universal apps for windows from outside the microsoft store? I doubt many devs will build apps which will put them at the mercy of microsoft
  5. Is this actually working for anyone? Docs is not suggesting me anything
  6. mailman, mail person and mail carrier all refer to the person who delivers the letter.
  7. how does google decide what language offends and what does not?
  8. spell check is based on facts not feelings. Either a spelling is right or wrong. Mailman to mail person is based on feelings. There is nothing grammatically wrong about using mailman in a sentence
  9. is it any thinner? these smartwatches are too damn thick. the one apple device i actually want to get thinner keeps getting thicker
  10. after apple silicon mac pro is released transition will be completed?
  11. i was talking about microled not miniled that is present in ipad
  12. I found a great website to test whether you can tell the difference between lossy and lossless audio or not. ABX High Fidelity Test - Spotify HQ edition (digitalfeed.net)
  13. my laptop seems to support 24 bit 192khz. i dont if it is accurate or not since the laptop is old. also it has microsoft drivers installed how do i know if it really supports 24 bit 192khz o not?
  14. i wasnt referencing you. i was referencing the post you quoted in your post the 40khz sampling rate comes from the The Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem that says the sampling frequency must be greater than twice the maximum frequency. that is arbitary minimum.
  15. but spotify has 2nd best search , best recommendation and best user created playlists. Youtube music has best search and only one which has music videos. Apple music search and recommendation sucks. So stuck with Spotify. Hope it gives lossless for free to premium subscribers.
  16. yep its only a matter of time till musicians start getting cancelled on twitter and their music gets taken off streaming platforms. these streaming platforms are becoming the gate keeper of music.
  17. Recording studios record at far higher quality than CD quality. Professional AD/DA converters used in studios support 24bit at 192khz. Lynx audio and Burl Audio are some popular brands used in professional studios. They can cost upto $6000 This is a separate AD converter B2 Bomber ADC | Burl Audio This is a AD/DA converter Aurora(n) - Products - Lynx Studio Technology, Inc. B16 Mothership | Burl Audio They all support 24 bit at 192khz The recorded audio is actually processed at a even higher 64bit and the end product is then converted to 16bit or 24bit whichever is required.
  18. Maybe they cant take advantage of high resolution audio but they can take advantage of lossless CD quality. Spotify only provides lossy 320kbps mp3 to premium subscribers (and only provides 256kbbs through the web app) Maybe future apple devices will support 24 bit 192khz playback
  19. what it means is that no Apple device natively supports 24 bit 192khz playback and you need a DAC to play that music. If you already have hardware capable of playing 24bit 192khz, then you will have no problem
  20. Summary Will be available for free to all subscribers, including those on family and student plans. Will have 75 million lossless audio songs in its catalog by the end of the year and 20 million to start. Lossless audio starts at CD quality, which is 16 bit at 44.1 kHz, and goes up to 24 bit at 48 kHz natively on Apple devices. Tops out at 24 bit at 192 kHz. For the highest-quality “High-Resolution Lossless” experience, subscribers will need external equipment like a DAC to enjoy it. Quotes My thoughts Amazon Music HD already dropped price to $9.99 a month to compete with Apple Tidal is officially dead now. Jay Z cashed out at the right moment. I personally use Spotify and I hope Spotify also gives lossless audio to all premium subscriber at no extra cost. But knowing Spotify, they will probably respond with a complaint to the EU instead of competing and providing Spotify HiFi for free like Apple.
