  2. whats the difference between the build with co_release and the build without it? Cumulative Update for Windows 11 (10.0.22000.100) amd64 x64 2021-07-22 21:01:01 UTC ee0facca-7894-442f-b025-3ff7046c5cea Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.100 (co_release) amd64 x64 2021-07-22 21:06:52 UTC ca0143aa-6f03-45ee-949b-2189478f633f

  4. Summary California passed new energy restrictions on consumer goods in 2016, but the standards did not take effect until 2019. The restrictions stem from the idea that California is the most populous state in the nation, has the largest economy, and is second only to Texas in total energy consumption. With these details in mind, California officials began releasing a different list of restrictions every few years with Tier I restrictions rolling out January 2019, which allowed no more than 50, 80 or 100 kWh a year for systems made from then up until July 2021. And Tier II launched just this past July 1, which includes Dell's Alienware gaming system. The Alienware Aurora R12 Gaming Desktop without the 11th Gen Intel Core Processor is the only model that can be shipped to all 50 states, the other three systems with the powerful chip, which range in price for $1,099 to $2,409.99, cannot. According to Dell, its energy intensive Alienware consumes 63 kWH a year when idle, but it can use 563 kWh annually if its CPU is stressed. California law restricts anything made after July 1 to 50, 60 or 70 kWH a year. There is now a warning label under the gaming systems on Dell’s website that reads: ‘This product cannot be shipped to the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont or Washington due to power consumption regulations adopted by those states. ‘Any orders placed that are bound for those states will be canceled.’ Quotes My thoughts What is the point of this? Did this really need a regulation? Whats stopping anyone building their own pc? What about people that require powerful pc for their work? 5. can you return the hard drive now? where did you but it from?
  6. i love dailymails comment section voting system shows upvotes, downvotes and allows you to sort by upvotes and downvotes. twitter should do that also allow you to limit who can comment on and retweet your tweets. also allow people to see comments from private accounts like it is on instagram
  7. no but dont hand over laptop with personal stuff in it. either encrypt your entire hard drive or delete your personal files. back up all your data in another hard drive in any case. and it may not be the screen. it could be your motherboard, your graphics card, your display cable etc
  8. if it happens in linux too, it means it is a hardware problem. you need to take your laptop to asus for repair
  9. no i meant what error are you getting with the linux?
  10. All the new dev builds are now of Windows 11. Windows 10 dev builds have stopped. So that means they have stopped developing new builds for Windows 10 right? So there will no new feature updates, just monthly cumulative updates and security patches till 2024?
  11. any distro that can live boot will do. you can try ubuntu. its pretty popular.
  12. download the ubuntu iso from here: https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop/thank-you/?version=21.04&architecture=amd64 and then follow the instructions: How to create a Bootable USB using Rufus for Linux Distributions - TREND OCEANS
  13. try booting into a live linux distro. if there is no issue in linux, it means it is a software issue. otherwise it is a hardware issue. you can boot into a live linux distro without making any changes to your existing windows installation. you just have to burn the linux image on a usb drive and select boot from usb drive after restarting your computer
  14. no it would not work for installed program. you need to clone your existing hard drive and move it to your new ssd you can follow the instructions in this link How to Copy Your Windows Installation to an SSD | PCMag
  15. try booting into a live linux distro. if there is no issue in linux, it means it is a software issue. otherwise it is a hardware issue. you can boot into a live linux distro without making any changes to your existing windows installation. you just have to burn the linux image on a usb drive and select boot from usb drive after restarting your computer
  16. windows 11 installed some bad display drivers on my laptop. the laptop was all slow and the animation was choppy. manually downloaded driver from intel website and it fixed it. if anybody has same issue, try doing the same
  17. depends on what kind of data are you trying to save? files and photos and videos? or programs and their settings if it is just files and photos and videos honestly the best way I can think of is to completely take out the hard drive from the slot, put in the ssd in the main slot and clean install windows on the ssd dont bother with putting the hard drive in the dvd drive and all that bullshit. i see you use a 1tb hard drive. buy a 2tb ssd and call it a day. a 2tb ssd is pretty cheap nowadays. and to back up your data from the current hard, copy all the files to an external harddrive of course in this way you will lose all your programs and settings and will have to reinstall them
  18. welcome change. i would also like a messenger which does not require a phone number to sign up. why arent messengers like that more popular? why is a service that is not reliant on a cellular connection still require a phone number as an identifier? backwards
  19. wtf are you even arguing about? have you even used windows 11? no you wont get any new insider builds unless you join the dev channel, which was previously not possible if pc did not meet minimum requirements. now I managed to join to join the dev channel even without meeting minimum requirements. if you dont join dev channel you will be stuck with the build you installed unless you manually download and install every new insider build iso if you join the dev channel, you get upgraded to every new insider build. according to microsoft, you should downgrade to windows 10 when windows 11 is available to public. till then you free to try the insider previews.
  20. no it was not possible before even with insider build. as i stated in my post. even with an windows 11 insider build, you could not join the dev channel if your pc did not meet minimum requirements
  21. I installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro on an old laptop that does not support TPM or SecureBoot using the the registry hack during installation (the BypassTPMCheck, BypassSecureBoot). After installation, I could sign up for the dev channel of the Insider program! In the Windows Insider setting, I got the message that my pc does meet Windows 11 minimum requirements and channel option will be limited. A couple of weeks ago I had installed Windows 11 and then I could only join the Release Preview channel But this time when I joined Insider program, I got the option to join dev, beta and release preview channel. I joined dev channel. I still get the warning So I can now get new insider builds officially? Last time I tried to brute force into the dev channel using the registry hack. I managed to get into the dev channel and received new builds but when it would try to install the new build, it would fail the pc requirements check and installation would fail. this became an infinite loop. It would continuously try to download and install the update, fail and do it all over again. I had to stop it by undoing the registry change. But this time I joined the program officially. Windows knows that my pc does not meet minimum requirement. Lets see if I can install the next build or not.
