  1. No they get the peak wattage of every component, and add anywhere from 50-75% more. There is a difference between overestimating and heavily overestimating to get more money via affiliate links. Some of its peak values are also ridiculous, with HDDs being attributed 24W peak, when they really are between 9-10W. So if they depict a unrealistic scenario and the likely consumption is going to be lower, why add further unecessary headroom...money.
  2. By definition it does. They over estimate is to convince unwitting and unknowing consumers to buy more expensive units as they have a monetary incentive to do so (via affiliate links). If a PSU calculator is not accurate, than it is just a PSU advertising website more than a calculator.
  3. The power supply doesnt "throttle", parts will draw power with the perception that the power supply is capable of supply it. Tripping over power protection will result in a hard shut down.
  4. If it is a single CCX for the 2300/2500X, would that mean high speed RAM would not be necessary as infinity fabric is basically redundant?
  5. Something like this: https://www.fractal-design-shop.de/Define-R6-HDD-Tray-Black
  6. Remember anything connected to the 16x/8x PCIe slots, the raid card (I think) and GPU will use PCIe lanes from the CPU. Anything using motherboard connectors, including NVMe drives and PCIe 4x slots will use HSIO lanes from the chipset, realistically he is using around 36-40 lanes from the CPU.
  7. You probably don't even have to, most power supplies set their OPP 20% above rated wattage. And if you are EVGA a dangerous 40%.
  8. It doesn't matter. Both chipsets have plenty of HSIO lanes to support a PCIe 1x connection.
  9. That's the typical excuse many people use "durrr I have X hours to know if someone is cheating". Yet people who say such still hackkuse previous pro players despite uploading to YouTube or even livestreaming.
  10. Enermax Liqtech TR4 coolers were specific as well.
  11. I'll put my complementary Kek here. But this issue was widely talked about in the PC community after Science Studio killed two PCs and proceeded to blame it on NZXT (which he later retracted) and PC Jesus (gamers Nexus) did a video on it. But it is also fair enough to assume that if it fits it works, maybe such a thing such as "Use x cables with x PSU only" warning should be in the instructions for a PSU.
  12. TDP is 100W, Max power consumption I have seen on overclocked load is 180W.
  13. No problem, as a wise dwarf once said, everyone has moments of shit to the brain. You are lucky that the LIM didn't damage other parts, or you had used a more expensive cooler.
  14. Just dropping a complementary Kek for not reading instructions. Kek.
  15. To be honest, after the Anti-white developer and ME:A, bioware has lost my respect entirely. The only EA dev team that holds a shrivel of my respect is DICE.
  16. Luckily EA didn't show any German weapons to great detail, the Wehraboos got so pissed at depictions of some German weapons and vehicles in CoD WW2
  17. Or dare I say... Battlefield 2 mechanics....no? I'll see myself out. As mentioned previously females should be in the USSR and French armies. Also operating a gun with a prosthetic arm, with such speed, what. Inb4 DICE make it like Red Orchestra 2 and meme it
  18. Didn't COD WW2 have a fiasco where most of their weapons were entirely inaccurate. That counts as historical inaccuracy. With BFV the things I was confused about was the speed of the Churchill tanks and the guns. For the most part battle field claims authenticity (non functional parts of the game) and the female character models is one of many issues surrounding it. TBH even if it is not authentic, I hope they raise the skill ceiling in this title, BF1 held hands with way too many game mechanics
  19. It depends on who is supplying the part, if Newegg is supply the parts then you'll pay taxes but if a local retailer supplies it, you won't. In relation to other countries, Germany may be a great option, they have a decent array of computer parts and shipping shouldn't be too terrible if they can ship to you,
  20. Try doing Newegg for your country (I.e Newegg.com/se or Newegg.com/dk). For graphics cards I have found it cheaper to buy a founders edition card and modify it with a H55 and a G12, its a cheaper way to get a GTX 1080ti if you can get your hands on one via NVidia's website. Another thing to note when buying hardware from other continents is the power supply, ensure that the power supply is designed for Europe or Australasia which have ~240V on the mains rather than ~120V in US (IIRC). Every other computer part should be alright, its just the PSU that may have an issue.
  21. Understandable, in a context of jest it's easy to see a joke. Obviously inciting violence and hate would classify it as hate speech like I had mentioned (Also love that analogy ). Person Z was convicted for making a Nazi joke in a context of jest, despite the majority of the online community (YT, Facebook etc.) disagreeing with the judge's verdict, in this situation he was told "Context or intent did not matter" rather it was the effect that the speech had on others.
