With this in terms of upgrade all you need to think of is the GPU. But this is pretty much a good all rounder with CUDA in mind.

Quick Sync Video is a huge power saver when all you need to do is just watch youtube, and the iGPU will save you the headache of not having a spare GPU. But yeah, Airo is something id love to slap in, but the Eagle OC is a bit of an upgrade with ball bearing fan instead of sleeve in the Windforce and Gaming.

The 5700X runs a lot cooler while giving you similar performance. It's a few years newer than the 5800X. The Lancool 216 is tough to beat in regards to airflow.

    Thank you for the updates!

Is anything wrong with the NZXT case? I personally liked the way it looked.
Also, why the 5700X over the 5800X? Is it because of price to performance?

NH-D14 or NH-D15 with some other fans? a Cryorig H7 would also work fine. the RGB you will have to add yourself, probably with fans or RGB strips

VortexHero reacted to vanished in What's the difference between RGB/W and RGB/UV
To add on to the above, the reason for RGB/W, when we all know that RGB (at least in a display) can make white, is that RGB lights tend to not do the best job of this.  Due to a lack of power balancing (calibration) and their large size, they don't blend well like the subpixels on a monitor

VortexHero reacted to Drak3 in What's the difference between RGB/W and RGB/UV
RGB/W has a dedicated white LED. If you want white, you actually get white.

RGB/UV has UV LEDs. These give off soft glows with certain things/colors. White objects will have a soft, purplish glow, and if you watercool, you can get UV reactive dyes.

Neither is really better, objectively. They're different, and fill different subroles.

Thanks. Probably going to get the D15 for now, and may or may not add RGB fans in the future.

Doesn't sound ridiculous at this point of time where everything is rgb
But yes you will have to replace the stock fan with a RGB one, One of the key selling points for the D15 too was the fan performance as well so you may gain extra noise depending on what RGB fan you buy.

If you dont care about looks, and just want straight up performance and quietness, the NH-D15 is the way to go, Other than that I dont think there are any RGB CPU coolers (Maybe soon be some though lol)
