No need for an upgrade. Try updating your drivers and disabling any power savings mode in control panel and nvidia control panel.
There will be a slight fps gain in newer games with an i7 but it's not worth the extra money and hassle.

So I'm going to basically tear out everything of my case, and rebuild the whole thing with RGB lighting and new fans e.t.c

it's got a X370 chip set which is overclockable, only non overclockable chip set is the A____ (can't remember the number), and because
A) all CPUs support overclocking
B) lower end R3 CPUs haven't been released yet
there is very few of these boards so yea

Removing the stickers that won't void your warranty is all I can think of

Cover it up by making a PSU shroud/cover. They're fairly simple to make from a sheet of acrylic. 
 
You could also consider sleeving/buying some sleeved cables to make the wires look nice. I personally sleeved my PSU's cables and removed all of the stickers to make it look clean. Bear in mind that will almost certainly void your warranty though. 

1080 is 500w on a full system, so please tell me what exactly is the point of a 700w for his build ?

Those are not always reliable and only give you an estimate at best. I typically look at the power rating that the manufacturer lists for their part, add 15-25% then add the powers together. I also make sure that I'm not exceeding more than 80% of the power supplies maximum output power.

All that money and you bought a 1050 Ti?! Get a 1070 with that kinda budget.

1050Ti's don't SLI.
 
I don't want to plunge this into a thread where we evaluate your build choices, but it might be worth taking a look at Ryzen since you get more for your money. It would allow you to allocate a bit more of your budget to PSU.
 
I would recommend something like a SeaSonic M12II power supply, I believe they are all fully modular, are very reliable and might come with a fan-less mode (their fans are practically silent anyway).

Great build, if there was one thing I would change it would be the motherboard, I love Gigabyte but this motherboard is honestly not that great. Did you forget about your graphics card? Ryzen 1700 is a CPU and not an APU, meaning that you require a GPU

May I question as to of which dimensions your current chassis supports of for a dedicated GPU?
 
My personal recommendation for video editing would, as with what @ItsTheDuckAgain, would be a used nvidia quadro. Otherwise, a 4gb AMD Rx 550 is likely superior if you do not plan to game on said card.
