  1. Both i guess , but for those of us who live on the other part of the world are having a really hard time with latency for the Online mode , it's even causing the loading times to get super long at times . I'm going to call it as Loading Simulator 2015.
  2. Are the temps for phones accurate? Im still using a Galaxy Note 1 with Custom rom loaded , there was a time when i was using the phone and it reached 80c when I opened the Cputemp app , I was wondering if it was accurate or not , but it does indeed scald my fingers when I tried touching it. If only I still had the screenshot.
  3. As much as I like previous Logitech's products I wouldn't recommend their G series headsets , my brother owned both the G230 and G430 , both of it showed cracks on the top part where you can swivel it to side and all. Also , the swivel itself feels very flimsy , I had to handle it very carefully because it really does feel flimsy. Though some of the Logitech products nowadays seem to not be on par as the long gone company. My brother and I own the same G710+ mech keyboard , most if not all of the keycaps show signs of cracks , thus some being looser than others. Luckily ours were the newer batches without the LEDs being faulty. Lastly , I also do own a G700s which performs decently though the coating for it is awful.
  4. I need to use it as a mic as my current mic broke , I used WO Mic , its connected and all , I can hear it perfectly clear , but then again , I dont know how to set it up as a capture device on Teamspeak 3 or in the control panel. I have a CSGO match in like 2 hours , fml. Thanks for all the help in advance! Edit : I could install the PC client , but not the Wo mic pc driver , it says i have another old version installed , uninstall it , but I dont see to have anything in the program files folder anymore and i still cant install it.
  5. It does solve the tearing , I just own a 144hz benq monitor not too long ago , probably just a week or two now , It is really that much smoother compared to 60hz , I tried going back to 60hz just to try it out , my gosh it is very jerky. I don't think I can go back to 60hz now lol. I'm LEM on CSGO though , hopefully I'll be able to put it into good use!
  6. I just recently got the BenQ XL2420Z , first impressions once I changed windows setting to from 60hz to 144hz , were , wow , it is really pretty smooth , and the way the mouse cursor moves is also super responsive. Though as many have mentioned here , if you're not into competitive gaming , then probably don't get the 144hz monitor. I got it because I play a lot of CSGO. Like seriously a lot. 6 hours or so per day?
  7. I just recently got the BenQ 2420z , and yes there's a way to check if it's newer than V1 firmware , on the box there's a MFG (manufacturing) date , mine's July. I heard from March onwards its quite safe to say its V2. It's definitely a great monitor , super smooth compared to 60hz , though the I have not calibrated the colours and whatnot , and maybe due to that , I'm seeing some blotch of darker shades of colours in videos , also there's slight greenish hue to some dimly lit photos that I've encountered , slightly annoying , but oh well , its 144hz and its great for gaming which I primarily use it for.
  8. What about LEM , 2.7+k hours and a 60hz tn monitor? Also , I'm currently using a HD7850 + i5 3570 , while it runs more than enough for 144hz on 1366x768 , I'll probably run it on that reso when I'm getting one of the BenQ 144hz monitors , reason being don't think it'll be enough to run 1080p and also takes time to adapt to the new resolution / sensitivity. Also I would like to know if it's going to be worth it to be spending that much for a monitor that's "TN" when I hearing that IPS 144hz are coming soon , just that those aren't 1080p. Though I'm quite sure that it's going to be extremely pricey once those come out. The BenQ XL2420z cost $423+ directly converted , here.
  9. Regardless of playing that much of CSGO? I am still playing that a lot though , more so that AAA games , it's more of a taking a small "break" from CSGO. Mixed feelings right now though , there are some who said to upgrade monitor first and then later on GPU. Oh yes , i forgot another thing , I think I'd be staying on the same reso if i were to get the 1080p 144hz monitor , one thing is that its going to take time to adapt , another thing is well you know the reason , GPU horsepower lol.
  10. I assume the cons is that the pricing for those would be extremely expensive too right? If it's similar pricing , I would wait though.
  11. 1, I normally run it on where its decent to look at and with "playable" fps , with the latest games released , it's already struggling running on med settings native resolution. Dying light for example , I just turned it all down to the lowest , still looks good though the fps sometimes could drop till the 20s which isn't really "playable" for me lol but just went on since it was fun. FPS i get 30-50ish i guess , doubt it would be that decent running on 1080p lol. And yeah , some games look like crap when all the settings are turned off , maybe i'll slide in a 2x AA into it because I can't stand the jaggies . Thank though , for your time answering my questions
  12. Crap , my bad , forgot to state it , its a HD7850 , and I'm running 1366x768 native on csgo. Ah , unfortunately , I don't live where there's NCIX.
  13. I have pretty low expectations too , the v1 firmware is reportedly not compatible with 3rd party blur busters utility which could improve blur reduction or something else and a few other = technical issues? Something that I've read up a few days ago and I've already forgotten about it , that's how technical it is , lol. Hmm , I have a friend who owns 2411z with a v3 firmware , I'm now hoping that what I saw in the retailer is indeed not v1 lol. By the way , what do you think is more important , a GPU upgrade , or in this case a monitor upgrade. I play mostly CSGO with 2.6k hours , I do play some other AAA games though not as much as CSGO.
  14. Is it the one with v1 firmware?
  15. I currently play on 60hz TN panel , I would definitely wanna try out a 144hz monitor for a change , but thing is , it's quite hard to bump into such "advanced" tech at my place , so happen to see 2 of these monitor and a AOC 144hz monitor for sale. Problem is , I don't wanna risk getting a V1 firmware of the XL2420Z which would be definitely be troublesome to return or I doubt it's even returnable here (you don't have the privileges of returning products you aren't fond of here). Is there a way to check on the box when its manufactured or something ? So that I can get a rough idea. Thank you! Also , I would definitely like to hear from people who owned the XL2420Z V1 and other 144hz monitor , to be compared if it's even tolerable to use on v1 firmware.
