  1. Budget (including currency): £350-£450 Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming (league, starfield, the hunter) Other details currently have a 5700xt with a ryzen 5 3600 16gb Ram. Just wondering what cards out there if any would be worth the upgrade (would be selling mine to my brother for £100 so please take that into considerations in terms of worth)
  2. Ive tried chipset drivers, scanned for files as well as RAM timings however, ill look up the dx12 reinstallation and see if that helps, thank you.
  3. Hi, after downloading hogwarts legacy and playing for a few hours i've run into the game crashing almost instantly upon loading into the game (when i look up at the sky). i've tried multiple graphics drivers using DDU each time, i've even updated my Bios as well as upgrading to windows 11. ive delayed something in the registry which i read was linked too "Display driver amdwddmg stopped responding and has successfully recovered." and nothing seems to work. In total i've tried over 10+ hours of "fixes" and nothing has resolved the issue. i was hoping the latest windows update as well as AMD'd driver would have resolved the issue, but no. The only issues i can see is the one above (always shows in event viewer) and "The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. (Process exit code: 0x0000042b, Restart count: 1, Primary display device ID: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT)" only showed most recently. My specs are: Ryzen 5 3600 MSI 5700XT 8GB 16 GB 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz The only thing i can think of now is that i use a Corsair CV550 PSU as it was installed when i brought the pc. The graphics care is powered by a "Y" connector, however the +12V rail says it should support 44A 528W MAX so unless it is a problem with the power causing the event viewer crashes i'm at wits end. Thank you for any information that you may have to help with my issue.
  4. Oh man this escalated quickly and I've never used super expensive headsets purely for sound, so I Dont think it's something I'm too bothered about. As long as its wireless, surround sound for footsteps, decent mic and audio sounds then I'm gucci. Also it's not a strict budget however don't want to be paying over 140ish pounds
  5. Budget (including currency): 100 Country: United Kingdom Looking for a new wireless gaming headset for £100. So far its between Steel Series Arctic 1 and Corsair VOID Elite. Any thoughts?
  6. Apparently the 5700xt performs similar to the 2070 super, do you have any issues gaming at 144hz?
  7. Budget (including currency): 900GBP Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming at 1080p 144hz Other details currently have a ryzen 5 2600 with a 1060 6gb gpu, 16GB Ram 2400Mhz. For £900 I can buy a pc with a ryzen 5 3600 and a 5700XT Mech OC 8GB, 16GB Ram 3200Mhz. Will this be enough of an upgrade to justify buying it. Also any information you can give me about it will help, thank you.
  8. I'm not quite up to date wit this anymore tbh been a few years since i last built one, however the task is pretty simple... for the budget above list the components including case that you would buy and a short explanation on why? e.g whether it has m.2 and what it does thank you to anyone who puts there time into these, will help me out a lot
  9. Today i brought the AOC 24G2U/BK as i dont have a 144hz rate monitor. whilst trying to look at reviews for it i keep seeing the title with AOC 24G2U and the "/BK" missing, wondering what the difference is here and by watching reviews for the AOC 24G2U would the results be similar to the AOC 24G2U/BK version?
