  1. My intent would be to be able to use these lower power parts in non-space sensitive applications and to make upgrades possible for things like solder in ram which could easily have a flush press in and lga style socket with friction fit much like replaceable bios chips, with a minimal increase in board area. In the case of the ram upgrades I would hope to see this setup wherever ram is solder now except in thinnest of applications like phones and wearable devices. As far the cpus whether they solder the cpu to an adapter to make us of it in a normal socket or o better yet just make a socket for the bga chip to avoid soldering at so surplus and recovered chips can be re-used in silent systems.
  2. I am not sure if this is the right area, please move to the correct place if not. There are lots of systems that use soldered in low tdp high performance cpus, it seems like a waste that cpus are not regular salvaged and resold or sold to customers with either an adapter to fit a standard socket. This is technically feasible as been done by few enterprising people. My curiosity is whyy are the not boards for enthusiast and pros with a socket for bga style chips, it seems like a variant on lga would work for cpu, memory, etc... . Having these sockets would allow for memory upgrades on things like gpus, which in the past and recently have been shown to be receptive to more memory. However, I digress this is mostly to the curiosity of why we don't see desktop style boards for with sockets for bga mobile chips. I ask as it seems a lot of people would want to use high end laptop chips for high end media centers that could be run passively and silently. To clarify is there a technical reason that there are not bga compatible boards with lga style sockets and if there is not technical limitation why aren't manufactures willing to make them.
  3. Budget is at most $450 preferred under $300. Other big consideration is I have back issues and need hella lumbar support and reclining ability.
  4. I just need a chair with wheels so I can move it easier.
  5. You mean well but this isn't helpful and comes across condescending. Also I have known many people well over 400lbs that have lost it, that said I have known a few that have tried expensive medical intervention to no avail, as for me I am looking into a medically supervised diet as so far all the well meaning people and doctor suggested diets and exercise have failed. As far as specialty videos they have made ones that cater to far less of the audience 0.1% , and I didn't say Anthony weighed 400lbs just that he seemed on the heavier side.
  6. Hey I was wondering if there are any reliable reviews for office/gaming chairs for people that 400lbs/181.5kg/28.6st and up. Preferably videos, maybe Linus an do a video and maybe Andy can test them no offense meant to Andy. I am currently using a recliner as I refuse to invest in an expensive chair until I can see a reliable review from somebody in my size range that isnt being bribed to give a good review. So if this can get boosted some maybe the media and review teams see it so we can get a video it would be great. Also off topic to anyone who wants to comment on my weight shove off you don't know me nor things I have tried and gone through.
  7. I wouldn't risk it and instead use the deep cool adapter it s a lot less risk.
  8. depending on where you live a separate room isn't an option such as a small studio in Florida, or New York, etc... in my case Florida.
  9. Okay so it perplex me no vr head mounted displays never took off, I know they are expensive but so is most new tech. I would think the convenience of being able to set a reasonable high res display on your head and have the absolute privacy that it brings, would be a god send to couples or roommates living in small spaces, no glowing, monitors or tvs at night, just darkness so those around you can sleep, and no one looking over your shoulder. So why are HMDs that could be cheaper because they dont need support vr not a thing. I know about the old ones from when it was tried before the technology need was ready, but we have had the tech to make them good for a while now so why are they not a thing.
  10. I mean to the strip with those pads because none of the aRGB strips that I have found have them
  11. okay cant find those on any argb strigs only regular rgb, do you know how to or if these can be cut to length https://www.newegg.com/airgoo-amdrgb0001-rainbow-2-strips-fit-for-3-pin-5v/p/1W8-011Z-00004?Description=addressable rgb strip&cm_re=addressable_rgb_strip-_-9SIAKRYB740142-_-Product&quicklink=truehttps://www.newegg.com/airgoo-amdrgb0001-rainbow-2-strips-fit-for-3-pin-5v/p/1W8-011Z-00004?Description=addressable rgb strip&cm_re=addressable_rgb_strip-_-9SIAKRYB740142-_-Product&quicklink=true
  12. Okay so I have non rgb ram with heatspeaders, I do not want to remove the the heat spread as it is ballistixs. I do want to want to turn it into argb ram by 3D printing some translucent led holders and if it works do the same for fan grills. on that note what I want to know is can you custom trim argb strips and what is involved. also one last thing is it possible to add custom parts to Corsair node pro etc..., I know with an adapter you can attach them but you are at the mercy of matching there leds to yours so far it has worked ok but I would rather just make my own parts to add to the drop down to get it perfect.
