  1. So ive been trying to get a Gigabyte gtx 1080 turbo cooling (blower style) mining on nicehash and ran into a problem. I am getting good hashrates but the usage along with almost everything is oscillating. It doesn't do this in games which makes me believe it's an application version problem. I've tried underclocking both memory and core clocks but it will not stabilize. I also have the fan maxed out almost all of the time and it will run a steady 72C. A friend of mine has an identical system and it is mining like a champ. Thanks in advance for any input.
  2. Ok thanks so much guys! Thats a lot for me to look into. Also any opinions on the hopefully soon to be released rx 560?
  3. Ok so I had an idea of what I wanted but some wise men on the forums pointed me in a better direction. Here's what I'm looking at. My max budget is 500$. I need to order tomorrow or the day after. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6J2BHN I Live in the US. I am building for using cad software and occasionally playing games like arma and bf4. I am planning on upgrading cpu and gpu. I want to tinker with overclocking the gpu. I already have peripherals. I will be using Windows 10. Thanks
  4. Also I was wondering if it makes a difference between the single and dual fan 1050ti's.
  5. Ok I've taken into consideration every thing that has been recommended and this is what I will most likely be buying over time.(The 1050ti might be replaced with a rx 560 if it turns out to be better) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RqDmjc
  6. Ok thank you I didn't realize that the gt630 was that bad lol. I will be most likely going with most of what you have recommended now that I have done some number crunching (assuming the rx 560 will be about 100$). So Thank You!
  7. Ok thanks I'll definitely look into that.
  8. Ya I was kinda thinking that but I really can't spend more than 400$. I can get a 120 or a 128 gb SSD for the same price as a boot drive. Would that be enough for the basics until I get a HDD? THANKS
  9. Hello, This is my first pc build and I have done tons of research. I believe I have figured out what I want. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sn6BHN I am being given the graphics card. I am in the good old USA. My budget is 400$ (which my configuration is 400$ on Amazon). I am looking to play games like arma 2 and also use things like blender and cad software. I tried to chose parts that will allow me to upgrade to a 7700k an a gtx1080 in the future. I also want to tinker with overclocking when I get a better cpu cooler. I already have a tv and peripherals . I will be using windows 10. If you find any faults please point them out . I am here to learn. Thank you!!! p.s. I have to buy everything of Amazon and Newegg
