  1. First time I've posted my results. Not sure if these results are great or not, but I am happy with my build. Benchmark:Fire Strike CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 GPU: GTX-1080FE GPU Core: 2139 GPU Memory:1383 Score:17,425 3DMark Link: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/34612855?
  2. Agreed with the "future proof" nothing really is. But I'd like to think that I could have a system last at least 4 years before I "need" to upgrade it. Unless your a baller and have mad cash to build every couple of years to keep up with technology, or your Linus
  3. I am a bit picky on how my system looks. I know that having "shop staff" build a system there will be something I would have done differently. This means I would have to take it apart and fix what ever looks off or wrong. I say save that annoyance and just build it yourself.
  4. Thank you for your reply's guys. I tend to agree So I will be getting a Gsync monitor and using the AOC as a good secondary display.
  5. So when I was building my PC (Evolution) I originally planned on getting an RX Vega as part of my build. I also purchased a AOC G2460PF freesync monitor. Here is where my problem begins. I got an incredible deal on a 1080 so I purchased that to go with the AOC monitor. I am not sure which piece of equipment to sell now. Option one Sell the AOC monitor for a loss, pay more for a 144hz Gsync monitor. Option two; sell the 1080 for pretty much retail from what I see on ebay. Get a RX Vega 56 (downgrade) and keep the monitor, but probobly not have to pay out of pocket. Option three do nothing and not utilize the Gsync or Freesync my hardware offers. Last option just buy a Gsync monitor and use the AOC as a secondary monitor? As you can see I have lots of options.
  6. Looks like tweak town tested Vega for mining and shows it only getting 30.5 MH/s. we might be able to get get the Vega56 after all. http://www.tweaktown.com/news/58742/amd-radeon-rx-vega-64-nowhere-near-100mh-mining-power/index.html If your looking to upgrade Id get them early since these prices seem to be a launch only price according to WCCFTECH. http://wccftech.com/amds-rx-vega-64s-499-price-tag-was-a-launch-only-introductory-offer/
  7. With ASUS, MSI and others we mind as well wait till sept. to see what they have for us (gamers)
  8. So with the current rumor showing off vega64 doing almost 100 MH/S I think my previous statement might come true.
  9. So looking at the new Threadripper cpu and mobo's ASUS is going to run 4 pci-e 3.0 X16. My question is this, will we be able to run crossfire/SLI in a x16 x16 or even in a x16 x16 x16 config. Rather then a x16 x8 x4 or some combination thereof.
  10. So is anyone else hoping that all these miners are going to buy up all the vega cards and flood the market with R9's, RX480 and the such. Im hoping to get a some older cards for really cheap like two rx480 or rx580 for like 150 each or even less. :-)
  11. Buying clothing on amazon is awesome, yea measurements sometimes don't come out as planned. But returns are super easy, pre paid labels by amazon (im guessing) I usually get refunded the day the item is scanned by UPS. I like the blue one, the flower one requires mad skills. Skills I don't got.
  12. Ideally not a great deal, but considering the mining craze going on its better than you would get 2nd hand. Since it's cheaper than the second tier market. I say you got as good of a deal as possible, especially if you are in need of a new one.
  13. Because racing seats are designed for long races. Not so much to be comfortable, but to not hurt you in hour 20 in the 24 hours at le mans.
